In spite of this, the fire has been succesfully contained thanks to the  firefighters voluteers. However, it is believed that the climate conditions could contribute to the restart of them.

The ones who were affected by the fire are being compensated with a credit line and the firefighters are still taking care of this burning situations in the area.

In California, Oregon and Washington the forests were burnt down because of 200 fires. This caused an orange, doomsday looking haze to appear. It was said it was harder to breathe in it. Some people were interviewed  about it and they said that it felt like the end of the world and it was not healthy. Fire fighters are doing everything they can in order to put down the fire.

Lately, several riots are said to have taken place in the US. George Floyds' murder is believed to be an awakening to a large number of people because it demonstrates that racism is still an issue nowadays. This man is said to be a victim of police racism, and police abuse of power among everyone. In this video, rubber bullets are reported to have been shot at the protesters by the Dallas police department to try to eliminate the citizen’s right to free speech. This series of events are thought to be the start of a revolution, causing the end of racism all around the world.

In the province of Cordoba, big fires hitted the north location.
The fires are thought to have been started due to strongs winds and droughts taking place in the region.
Even though firefighters are said to be working for over a week, the fire cannot be stopped and is moving towards other locations.
It is said by authorities that the fire risk is still very high. Luckily, heavy rains are expected to come by the middle of the week and, will hopefully cease the fire.

It is said that a massive explosion took place in Beirut on August 4th, during it 190 people were killed and 6.500 were injured.The disaster was preceded by a large fire at the Port of Beirut, on the city's northern Mediterranean coast. Extensive damage was caused, which was captured by the locals. For instance, a bride was being filmed during her wedding photoshoot when the enormous explosion occurred.


We chose this piece of news as it is a recent event which we found very interesting and was captured by many citizens.

In May of 2016 a three-year-old child is said to have fallen into a gorillaz zoo habitat.  Over the next minutes, as people seeked for help, Harambe  (The 17 year-old gorilla) became disoriented and panicked, and his reaction was questioned by the other tourists. 
It was though that Harambe could severly harm the boy, so, the zoo oficcials decided to kill him, with a single rifle shot. 
After the incident, it was believed by many, including the police, that the child's parents had the fault for what had happened, but, at the end, they didn't face any charges.
Harambe´s death became viral when an anonymous user uploaded a video of it on YouTube, and since then, several vigils took place to honour it.

Last August 4th an explosion was witnessed in Beirut. Regardless the political tension, an event this enormous had not been expected. All of a sudden, a striking noise was heard by all citizens: it was a bang which had been caused by an explosion in the harbor. People saw the sky getting covered in grey and red smoke. A lot of videos were recorded while wailings of shock and groanings of pain could be heard in the background. The videos were rapidly spread through social media. It is believed that this event was the government's fault. Naturally, the citizens are said to be boiling in anger due to the disasters. Fingers are being aimed at the government saying they were neglected and this event could have been avoided.

Three black women have been verbally attacked by another citizen during their daily morning run last month. The video was captured by them while they were being told that their lives did not matter. It is known that racism is harsh and awfull, but, as the ladies recall, going through a face to face abuse makes you realise how serious it is. This is one from many situations in which black people are discriminated due to their race. The Yucatan was reported to have been hit first but then the strong winds started to head north. The hurricane was announced to be category 3, these windstorms seemed to have blown thousands of cars and roofs away, . It is said lots of deaths were caused by this phenomenon.The damages are known to have cost over $22.4 billion dollars to Florida's government.

Many fires have broken out all along the province of Córdoba. Fires started in that province, however, as they couldn't be controlled, they have affected approximately 40.000 hectares in 11 districts. Firefighters have tried to control them, but it is known that it hasn’t changed the situation that is why Federal forces, and the armed forces are helping to combat the flames. It is said that the fires have been burning for months so far. 90% of the people affected were little producers with less than 100 animals each.

A movement was documented in the “9 de Julio” avenue. In it, a group of people were being convinced by an old lady  that the government and scientists want to harm us and make us slaves through fear. According to her, our freedom is being taken away by the government, which is why we need to ask for permission to enter places.  According to her speech, the virus is said to be artificial by the japanese scientists because there is no natural virus that can withstand all the climates of Asia. Also, the 5G were mentioned, and the dictatorship of Communist China was also brought up, meaning that we would end exactly like them.

The forest fires in Cordoba, Argentina, believed to have a mild climate and a dry winter, broke out in the valley of Ongamira, Ischlin and Punilla in the last days of August. It is alleged to have been caused by the strong winds, severe droughts and human actions. It is said that people are afraid because of the quick spread of the fires throughout many provinces: Entre Ríos, Corrientes, La Pampa, San Luis, Córdoba, Santiago del Estero, Misiones, Catamarca and La Rioja. Fortunately, firefighters began to take action quickly. Even though they are supposed to be working hard, they have not been able to stopped it. Despite the fact that fires are expanding to many locations in Argentina, heavy rains are expected to be coming in these days of September.

We chose this piece of news as it is a recent event that is affecting Argentina. We are interested in being informed about these facts, because even though fires are not present in Buenos Aires yet, lots of homes, families and the flora and fauna in our country are in danger and they are suffering this serious situation.

Many fires have broken out in 11 provinces in the North of Argentina. These are caused by agricultural practices made by people who will later sell these lands or harvest them. Climate change is also said to be an important factor since there’s no rain falling to stop the fire. It is reported that firefighters are being helped by the citizens who are trying to stop the burnt in every way possible. This event is also said to be affecting people’s health as well as impacting the ecosystem. It has been rumoured that Congress together with the Environmental Ministry are planning  to create a better environmental law which protects the ecosystem.

These demonstrations have the objective of claiming equality between races, defunding the police and increasing people’s awareness on the importance of this problem. 
In this demonstration, the Protestants of the Black Lives Matter movement are being accused of trespassing people's properties. While the demonstrators are considered to be violent and disrespectful, the residents themselves are the ones being aggressive.
