         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Name</strong>: Marcus Ruckus</p><p><strong>Age:</strong> 15</p><p><strong>Gender:</strong> Male&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Neurological Level of Injury:</strong> Complete C6 SCI (ASIA A)</p><p><strong>MOI:</strong> Water ski accident a month ago</p><p><strong>PLOF</strong>: Fully IND with ADLs (grooming, feeding, dressing, toileting, bathing). He was playing on the junior basketball team, went swimming and jet skiing on the weekend, and was learning how to drive to take himself to school.</p><p><strong>CLOF:</strong> Fully dependent, he is on catheterization and receives assistance from mother and caregiver. Dependent with ADLs has potential to be partially independent with feeding with the use of adaptive devices. He needs a wheelchair to get around, currently at home has not returned to school yet.</p><p><strong>Environmental Factors:</strong> Lives in a 3 story home, his room is on the second floor but parents are putting in an elevator system. His school is large with no elevators but has ramps. He had classes on the third floor, but his new classes are on the first floor and are around 500-1000ft apart.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Body Functions and Structures&nbsp;Motor:</strong> The patient’s neurological level is C6, elbow flexion and wrist extension is preserved, there is no motor function in the lower extremities&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Sensory:</strong> It is intact at C6 and above, but is absent below C6&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Autonomic: </strong>&nbsp;Impaired bowel and bladder function, impaired sexual function, risk for autonomic dysreflexia&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Activities Limitations ADLs</strong>: Requires max assistance for self-care, has potential to be partially independent with feeding with the use of adaptive devices&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Bed Mobility</strong>: Dependent for all bed mobility needs assistance from caregiver</p><p><strong>Transfer Mobility</strong>: Dependent for all transfer mobility needs assistance from caregiver and DME</p><p><strong>Wheelchair Mobility</strong>: Potential for independence with power wheelchair, compared to manual which fatigue might limit the patient&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Participation Limitations School:</strong> Can return to school but will not be able to go to any classes on the second and third floor. The school does not have any elevators and his new classes on the first floor are around 500-1000ft apart.
