James I (1603- 16025)

I am King James I and I was the first Puritan King of England and I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first King to translate the Bible into English and called it the King James Bible. I was honored to be the King founded one the most prominent settlements in the newly acquired lands of America. I named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625- 1649)

I am King Charles I am I believed in the Divine rights of kings and struggled with the parliament over taxation, religion and governance. I fued the Parliament led to me dissolving the governed body multiple times with out their permission this conflict quickly escalating resulting in the English Civil War in 1642. I also had forces called Royalist and the other side that was led by Oliver Cromwell they were called Round heads.

Oliver Cromwell I (1649- 1658)

I am Oliver Cromwell and I was a military leader during the English Civil War and I was a Puritan Army General Because of my success in the Civil War. I was also crown Lord protector where I ruled England until my death in 1658 and I also changed the government of English by abolishing the monarchy and establishing the Commonwealth. I was known for the part of executing James I & for ruling England as a Military Dictator.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I am Charles II I had a rough time during when Cromwell ruled but know he was exiled to France by Cromwell by the threat the he posed to the throne as Charles I's son and once Cromwell died I returned to England and restored the Monarchy and this time period was called Restoration. I had my fair share problems like the Great Fire of London of 1666 and the resurgence of the black plague. During my reign I sought to heal the wound left in the Civil War and pursuing a policy of religious document called the Declaration of Indulgence.

James II (1685-1688)

I am James II and I was the Roman Catholic brother of Charles II and I was the last Roman Catholic ruler dues to the protestant. I was filled with anger due to the protestant and I have faced challenges regarding the religion And the Glorious Revolution began. I was overthrown peacefully and solidified the Constitutional Monarchy also laid the foundation of the English Bill of Rights that limited the power on the Monarch.

William & Mary (1688- 1702)

I am Mary the daughter of King James II but I was raised a Protestant unlike my Father I also married my first cousin William of Orange a Protestant Dutch Prince. When Parliament was completed over thrown of King James II they asked Me and William to rule jointly as a Protestant alternative our rule began the Constitutional Monarchy in England by agreeing to govern in accordance with the laws and decisions of Parliament. Our region known as the passing the English Bill of Rights in 1689 which officially limited the monarchy.
