The salivary glands make saliva that has enzymes that break down food and lubricate the throat. There are three salivary glands, the sub-mandibular and the sublingual glands are in the mouth and the parotid gland is in your cheeks.</div>]]></description>

These are put into the blood stream using facilitated diffusion (diffusion by means of a helper protein). Proteins in the small intestine are broken down and also are put into the blood stream though facilitated diffusion. Lipids are broken down into globular bunches and go into the blood stream through passive diffusion.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
