Originality is where something started. I think it starts when you are born or in a story wise is when you first think think the story has relevance.
I think text only makes sense when it is grouped together with other corrosponding texts to make a story.
I think that texts being uncertain of their true meaning is what makes different people get a different understanding of the text which is what is able to make deeper thinking between two people about the same text.

The clocks are replaced with characters from the simpsons (The persistance of memory.
People in the art peice are replaced with simpsons in a goofy way (American Gothic).
A character from the charlie brown series is replaced with the famous mona lisa.

I can agree with the professor, it is important to have some sort of background knowledge on something to get a good accurate picture intead of just googling the internet for a straight forward answer that has no connected background info to the topic.

1st book: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee centres on Atticus Finch's attempts to prove the innocence of Tom Robinson, a black man who has been wrongly accused of raping a white woman in 1930s Alabama.

2nd book: Two very ill patients fall in love with eachother in the hospital.

3rd book: The Alchemist follows the story of a young Andalusian shepherd, who travels to the pyramids of Egypt to find a treasure he has recurrently dreamed about.

Reflection:

The most evident IB characteristic in my portfolio would have to be knowledgable as because we were able to get a grasp many different aspects of different ideas from book we have read in class.

The least woud be open-minded because I didnt really ask more questions about things and just accepted those things to be true.

A entree im proud of would be 17 because we took a deeper look into text which isnt usually done, looking at the litteral text.

A hard entree was 2 because the quote was hard to connect with another quote to form a stronger quote.

A helpful entree would be 1 so I could find a book that interested me and I could go back once I finish another book.

More entrees where we could write about what we feel about a certain topic or quote
