They were to create a Thinglink  displaying their information. Thinglink is a tool where one can add photos or links to an image or photo. It definitely is an active learning experience because:

-it is student-centered (students have to gather their own research)

-it is engaging and motivating for students (they have to create their own webpage and Thinglink)

-it allows for students to demonstrate creativity.

-it is relevant to students because it incorporates important skills like using technology to create and present information. 

-it will help with retention since they are actively researching and creating something.
