Great class. It might be beneficial to take time and organize our binders by class and put your papers in order to by number so it’s easy to find and look back on things.

I have learned so much. I feel that the pacing has been good. I appreciate how, when needed, extra time is given.

Jon Saphier (2024) argues that addressing "the infrastructure of teachers' daily lives (p.2)" is the foundation to conduct any reform movement. It is a valid point because teachers are the changing agents and driving forces that connect students and school and district leadership teams. Teachers need a solid support system that grants them respect, empowerment, freedom, and efficient training. My question is, how can such a support system be built, sustained, and continuously improved?

I really appreciated the speed dating exercise and being able to learn definition and perspective from other teachers. I also really gained a lot from the "last word" exercise and reading the article. Any time I can get insight from teachers who are CLEARLY better than me, I am all about it.

I'm feeling good about getting the right pieces of my own planning, instructing, and evaluating together. I'm still struggling with getting the rest of my team on board with everything. I know it will come with time and I just need to be patient.

I love what I'm learning here. It's making me such a better teacher.

I have a hard time keeping all the resources organized. If you could suggest some main topics headings of the class and maybe have things labeled by topic so we could know how to sort things, that could be really helpful...and also share all of the handouts in a google drive that is organized by topics?

Ah ha - Teams and PLCs are vital for all student growth.

Challenges - I would like more time to discuss, collaborate, or work on assignments within class.

This training on "how to grade" has really helped me revamp my whole year and be more rubric based. 1-4. I have a teacher who stays til 10pm all the time for grading and I keep telling them- there is an easier way. This seems to be it.

Thanks for the time to organize binders. That was a HUGE help!
