  • From the interview, we can conclude that almost all of them have experienced littering.

  • The reason was that there were no trash cans around and there was already some trash in the area.

  • All of the responses also stated that they think people still lack awareness about littering and how to properly dispose of trash. The reason was that most people did not care about the environment around them and the impact of littering. Other reasons, such as laziness and a "not my problem" mindset, were also mentioned by respondents.

  • Usually, people see others littering on roadsides, rivers, and drainage channels.

  • The responses regarding the range of people who need the most education about littering varied from elementary students, people living in big cities, and all citizens of Indonesia.

  • The respondents believe the most effective way to educate people is to create a campaign, teach younger generations in schools, impose punishment on those who litter, and use social media and seminars for socialization.
