This was one of my favorite memories of 2024! I hold this memory close to my heart because our friends got together and hung out before most of us separated. That day was the happiest day of 2024 and the happiest I've been in school since it was the last day of 9th grade. On that day we were all together for the whole day in school, after school, we all walked down to Pomona Pizza Co. as a big group! At Pomona Pizza Co. we got two big pizzas and some drinks, we all ate till we felt like we were gonna throw up. After all that eating we played the games they had at Pomona Pizza Co. We had so much fun even though we sucked at the games but the only thing that mattered was that we were all together having fun! I only won two prizes and they were two small ones, a keychain, and a very small cat figure. I still have my keychain with my keys and I still have the small cat figure in my room. I would honestly relive this memory because of how fun it was and because of how happy I was.

My Quince - August

This was definitely one of my top 3 moments of 2024. I had my Quince on August 17 and I felt like that was one of the best days of my life! I had to do so much stuff just to have a perfect party, I would practice 2 times a week which was very time-consuming and I had to go to church 2 times a week as well on different days which was ALSO super time-consuming, but we pushed through and finished everything on time. I do feel like we (my parents and I) could've done things better since my parents bought everything at the last minute. On the day before my Quince, I couldn't even sleep in my room because my aunt and my grandma were staying over so I got kicked out of my room and slept on the couch and woke up with insane back pain from the hard couch. But when I woke up I couldn't even eat since I had to help out setting my tables and I had to help out setting other stuff after I finished with that I went to my hair stylist at 5 am who styled my hair AMAZING and did my makeup well! After that, I went go change into my dress and had a problem with the photographer since he was ignoring our calls and didn't want to answer us at all. We decided to forget it and had my dad take some photos, after that we went to church for my mass and I gave a speech and everything was awesome but finally my photographer showed up at the end of my mass and the photographer people were really rude to me and harsh, I honestly did not like them at all. After church, we went to a park in Chino Hills to take pictures and the photographers made us follow them and made us take the long way to the park even though there was a shorter and faster way to go to the park. Once we arrived there at the park the photographers didn't know where to take the picture which kinda made me a little mad. The photographers like I said were very rude, they started calling me Chinese since I have small eyes, which is an insane thing to do and they honestly just got on my nerves. Anyway, we finally went home after the photos and I FINALLY got to eat!!!! I was dying of hunger, I got a bowl of birria and it was so good, after that I was just snacking on some stuff since I had to keep greeting people and talking to my guests. After that, I had my dances which went smoothly, and at 1 am the party was finally "done". I finally got to go inside and open my presents and rest. I got some stuff from my favorite videogames and I got over $1000! Overall my Quince went super well except for the weird photographers.

Halloween - October

I loved Halloween since it is one of my favorite holidays! I got to finally spend Halloween in school with my friends since almost every Halloween we go somewhere like Dumont Dunes with my family which makes me miss school on Halloween. On Halloween, I woke up bright and early to put on my actual costume but I couldn't find the rest of my costume so I had to stick with a different costume, I dressed up as this popular dog called Gmail, he is a very cute Frenchie! When I got to school some people somehow recognized my costume and complimented me which made my whole day. Halloween in school was very fun! Once school was over and I got home I had to turn my room upside down and search my room for the rest of my costume and I did find it!! I went to go trick or treating around 5 with my friends and I had a good time even though I kinda got left out but I got to see my other friends roaming around in the neighborhoods and they looked so cute! :) I also saw my best friend selling hotdogs in a Plants VS Zombies costume which was the funniest thing EVER! Once I finished trick or treating I got to go home and give out candy to other people!

Chino Shoppes Christmas Event - November

This memory was very special to me even though it might seem a bit "unimportant" or "dumb" but on the day before Thanksgiving break my friends and I went to the Chino Shoppes after school. My friend Jordan, her sister, and I went to this ramen place while we waited for our other friend, Emmanuel. The ramen was super good! It was the best ramen I've ever eaten, it was extremely tasty and was just perfect. After that we went to Barnes and Noble to just chill and look at the stuff they had in the store, I bought my friend a K-pop album she's been wanting for a while now and she was super happy!! :) After that store we went to this very cool place with Gachaspons and claw machines, I wasted almost ALL my money in that one place, I won a Kirby figure, and a dog figure and my friend won this Cabybara burger plushie! In that store, we took a lot of cute group pictures with silly hats and accessories. After that we met up with my other friend Emmanuel, he had to come at a later time since he was somewhere else before this. Once we met up with him we went to Barnes to Noble and looked around AGAIN and had some fun. Once we were finished looking around we went in front of the Barnes and Nobles and they were having their Christmas event which I didn't know of but my friends did so we went to the event where they had a bunch of fake snow raining down on everyone which was super awesome! After that event, my friend's parents and her siblings came to hang out with us and it honestly made me feel very happy since it kinda felt like I was a part of their family and they treated me as if I was one of theirs. They treated me with lots of love and respect!

My friend's 16th birthday party - December

My friend's 16th birthday party has to be in my top 3 moments of 2024 even though it's at the end of the year, it was the most fun I've had in a while! At my friend's party, they served a lot of tasty food like lasagna. That party was the most alive party I've ever been to, everyone there was just very happy to be there and everyone there was just super energetic and were always dancing. I wish I had that crowd at my party because of how energetic they were. At that party they had a whole dance room and a "truck" with a Nintendo Switch and other games in it, they also had a whole photo booth. My friends and I were dancing till our feet started hurting and after they stopped hurting we would start dancing again. They had a big surprise which was these two people, one was a tall robot person and the other person was someone with a costume. They were very energetic and fun! They would dance with everyone and hype everyone up.
