Overall, both of the pictures show naturally water irrigation process by using human and animal energy. However, these methods are used to different place of water on.

To begin with, the first method shows the technique to irrigate the field with the height about 1-2 metres. Two farmers hold the two ropes which are connected to a bamboo or leather basket. Next, both farmers collect the water and swing it over a hill into the irrigation channels where it goes to the fields.

Unlike the first method, the rope and bucket use an animal energy such as buffalo or cow which is stronger than human, that is why it can collect water from 50-metres deep weel. The ox is connected to the pulley and rollers which pulls the bucket of water when the cow passes through the slope. Finally, water is transported to the irrigation channels.

Overall, both methods have unsimilar ways to operate. However, they rely on various forms of power and collect water from many depths.

To begin with, the swing basket  which is made from bamboo or leather used to collect ground water usually one to two meters deep. First, two farmers hold the ropes which are connected to the basket. Then, when they start to dig under one or two meters, they will through the basket put the water. After that, they push it and move the water into the irrigation channel. The crops are ready to be cultivated.

Differently, the next method is to used animal energy such as cow and buffalo. These animals are stronger than human so this method is used to dig water in deep wall under fifty meters. Further, new equipment is built in the tap of wall and consist of rollers and pulley from metal. All of the rollers, pulley, bucket and cow are connected by tight ropes. It is started when the bucket through to deep wall, the water come inside. Then, cow will draw the rollers and pulley to put up the bucket filled water. Overall, it can be seen that both swing basket and rope and bucket have diverse features to transport water for irrigation farmland.

The first method is swing basket that consists of rope used to take water from 1-2 metres well using basket made of bamboo or leather. The bucket is filled with water which is pulled and swing by two people subsequently the water is poured into the irrigation channel which then follows to the farmland.

At the same time, the second way to get water applies to the well up to 50 metres deep called rope and bucket. This way starts with the pulling power of a cow that has been tied to a rope, next a cow will pull the pulley runs throw the rollers tied to a bucket, and the bucket will draw water from the well up to the irrigation channels and serve for irrigation and bathing.
