It's in danger of it's icy peeks melting at a fast pace due to climate change. There's a cycle which delivered french water form the mountain and the streams. That means if the ice melts, then the water will dry out and the creatures who live in them will get dehydrated. But not just that mountain, but also allot more mountains in the area that are melting rapidly.
