The parts of the brain that control this are the Amygdala and the Hypothalamus. Basically when these things malfunction, it causes heightened reaction and emotions to things. So you tell zombie to stop, zombie gets butt hurt and pounces on you :D

A Lumbering Walk

The part of the brain that is missing is literally the reason why the walk like this (Which is lowkey hilarious to me like i'd tease them by jogging or just walking a little faster) anyway this part is the cerebellum! Zombies legit don't have one. due to this their walk is severely stunted as well as a few other things but ill get there

Long-term Memory Loss

Ok so! why dont they just like..not? eat everyone especially family members like that's messed up. I know bestie however the reason why is because they literally don't remember who they are, what they are or who you are. Why? cuz their Hippocampus is jacked up, or like..gone entirely. Same for their Cerebellum and Amygdala (they're making a beautiful return of course)

Language Deficit

To keep this one short its basically the entire left side of your brain that controls speech, since zombies are decomposing humans their brain is rotting with the rest of them.

Diminished Pain perception

Yea so dont try swinging they wont feel it stupid. why? because three parts of their brain are probably half way rotted away. well four. they are the pre frontal cortex which is responsible for the cognitive evaluation of pain. Three areas are associated with pain: the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC), dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and orbitofrontal cortex.

Stimulus-locked Attention

Oki so the frontal lobe is that is what controls the "Attention" aspect of like, humans (Or zombies in this case but ya know whatever). According to ACCAP (American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry) The front of the brain behind the forehead is the frontal lobe. The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that helps people to organize, plan, pay attention, and make decisions." This relating to how it effects zombies! this part of their brain is typically severely damaged due to decomposition, thus effecting it's control over the zombie.

Insatiable Hunger

The part of the brain that is responsible for hunger and it's satiety is the Hypothalamus, as like literally the rest of the zombie this part of the brain...as well as the rest of it is decomposing and due to the supposed illness the zombies are afflicted with, that simple thing is what's keeping the zombie up and moving. Zombies are super hungry and i assume burn that fat quickly from all of the walking and stuff. so they constantly need more food that food being humans and animals i assume. I wonder if they eat each other sometimes 0-0..ew.

So! after we've gotten past all of that mess, where would the best place to shoot a zombie be if you wanna make sure it's dead? Right in between the eyes bb! Obviously if you have a super powerful weapon like 90% of people do in zombie movies blasting that angry grumble ball of goo right in the noggin is easy! if you wanna get technical? both legs both arms then the head! vice versa! just make sure you abolish the head for 1000% saftey!~ <3 >w0 good luck!
