Country singer Toby Keith depicts aging as sort of a crisis but he reveals that he has alternatives if something does not go his way. He disclosed through his lyrics that if he needs to get in a "bar brawl" or wants to go to bed with the "twins" then all he needs to do is pop a viagra. He makes jokes throughout the song of him not ''being as good as he once was'' as the story in the music video begins to unwind.

Depression is NOT normal for aging

Depression is only at higher risk for older people if they have some sort of disease such as heart disease or cancer. Older folk are more likely to be misdiagnosed by healthcare providers when they have a disease because their providers believe that it is just a reaction related to their illness. Therefore, it becomes untreated and the elderly do not understand that they could actually start feeling better with the proper medication.

Boomer babies come together and react to why Millennials are feeling attacked and why "Okay Boomer" has become a mocking meme. Most of the 'boomers' did take offense to some of the videos that they were shown and did not think that the 'millennials' were in the right. While, other 'boomers' thought it was funny and agreed with some of the statements that were made. One of the boomers made a good statement, "every generation criticizes the next generation and someday they will begin criticizing the generation after them as well".

Just in 5 years there will be a 40% jump with older people impacted by Alzheimers disease. Baby boomers are aging and staying alive longer which means more elderly people will be effected by this disease. There are various ways to help prevent AD but it is not promising. Staying active as you get older helps increase the blood in the brain flow much easier. Eating more fruits and veggies and less red meat will also help reduce the aging factor contributing towards AD. Unfortunately, there is no cure for AD but with supportive family members and ongoing memory care activities, can help improve the symptoms and quality of life for the loved ones.

The average age of ones retirement is 63 years old. After retiring, a woman lifespan is 20 years while a mans is 18. Increasing the amount of years you work while getting older can increase the longevity of your lifespan. Working past the age of 65 can help increase lifespan up to 25 years. Many older individuals look towards prolonged vacations, golf trips, and visiting grandchildren as their life after work. However, what happens if they live longer than expected and their retirement funds start running low?
