Dark matter acts upon everything in our universe. At this very moment dark matter is passing through your body. There are many different ways that scientists are trying to detect dark matter. They are building devices deep underground with the hope that maybe a particle of dark matter will pass through a more dense mass, leaving a trace of its presence. Other ways that we are looking for signs of dark matter are with telescopes in space.
