         <title>To answer the question #1 about Nitrazine paper: Normal vaginal pH is 3.8 to 4.5, slightly acidic. High vaginal pH numbers indicate less acidity (alkiline), while lower than normal vaginal pH levels indicate high acidity. &quot;false positive&quot; means we think there was ROM, while pt&#39;s membranes are still intact (so there was a different reason for why the specimen was alkiline).</title>
