To Mr Gopal, Thank you for pushing all of us. Being the person who gave me the support I needed back then. Pushing me & ensuring that I am always okay. Being inside the Counselor's room almost everyday to check on me & being like a mother figure for me. The best crying shoulder I had in school who would hear me rant everything & help me go through all problems I had. 

To Mdm Rashidah, thank you for pushing us to succeed to be the person we are right now. You may be fierce, but you are always making sure your students made it far. You always prioritise us. 

& to the Girl's Soccer Teachers ( batch 2013 ) , thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to learn the sports! Never fail to guide us through. We may not bring home medals for school or trophies, but you've always given us the best moral support we ever needed.

It could not have been easy to take care and teach batch after batch of young and immature students, and helping them mature and understand important things in life. Primary School is a crucial phase in our lives and I am very thankful that we had great teachers and much guidance throughout this period. Although we may not have felt it then, we are very thankful for all the advice and effort put into moulding us into great students, and great people. Personally, I found Primary School as a period of enlightenment and maturity. When I had first joined Primary School, I did not know much and was more introverted and shy. However, growing up and listening to the advice of my teachers and friends, I realised that I had to become more sociable and approachable to make the most out of my experiences. Therefore, I forced myself to volunteer to talk more, and took the initiative to start something or engage my peers. Initially, it was not enjoyable as it was greatly out of my confort zone. However, through the years, I managed to enjoy befriending others and taking the initiative to help others in all ways possible. Now, I can proudly say that Primary School was a very impactful experience in my life, in a good way.
With the current Covid-19 pandemic, it has added many more challenges to your teaching. However, all of you are strong and were able to get through this challenges while maintaining the care and concern given to us students. Happy Teacher's Day, and I hope that the pandemic will be concluded soon so all of us alumni can come back and visit our roots. Stay Strong!

I miss going to school there very much and I wish I had cherished my time in the school more! I’m really sad that I won’t get to see the Teachers personally this year but I hope I can go back to visit Teachers one day! Wishing all Teachers of jps a happy Teacher’s Day!

They have played a huge role in my life and will always hold a special place in my heart. A part of me will always belong to JPS and my primary school teachers are one of the main reasons why. 

I will never forget the warmth, kindness and understanding that my form teacher of 4 years, Ms/Mdm Audrey Ang (who unfortunately isn’t with JPS anymore) has shown to me through the years. Many of us students will remember her. She has always been one of my favourite teachers. Up till today, I still mention to my friends and family about the stories she told us during her classes. I remember how she treated every student like her own child. She taught us well in many subjects including both English and Maths, making every lesson as interesting as she could. Her kindness has touched many and many of us still keep in touch with her. I’m not very sure if she would see this but, Ms Ang, if you do, a very happy teacher’s day to you. I remember the joy I felt when I realised I would be in your class for 4 years straight. You have made my primary school life the best and I would give anything to once again walk into your classroom on the first day of Primary 1.

thanks to jps, i am able to befriend great people & grow up to be a more mature person. Throughout jurong primary school, All of the teachers that have taught me were really caring & compassionate . Thank you for being there for me when i was growing up. Thanks  to primary school, i was able to discover my talent as well as probably if my teachers didn’t compliment me or bring up that i was good in dancing, i wouldn’t even be dancing right now as i wouldn’t know that i have a talent for it haha.

 I would like to thank more specifically ms looi, mrs rama & mrs maalini for being a great teacher. Mrs looi, because of you, i am able to discover my talent and to even gain more confidence in myself! You’re also really caring towards the students and you care about our well-being as i still remember that our class was very chaotic 😅. Thank you for giving me endless support and motivation to chase my dreams & to pursue something i love ! And lastly thank you for making my last two years in JPS a fun one 💚 

For mrs rama, thank you for making me love english even more. I already liked the subject english a lot but with the way you teach english, it makes the subject more fascinating to me in a sense ?. You’re also really caring and really onz with teaching which i love ! The dedication!. Whenever i cross paths with you, you would still call out my name and it makes me feel really jubilant as you still remember me! (Same as mrs looi)

I was only in your english class for primary 6 but thank you for treating me as if i was apart of your class, it made me feel really welcomed and elated. Thank you for also teaching english with different types of ways to make it more interesting for us especially since it was our final year in JPS. Thank you for being a teacher that the students can confide in & for being a really supportive teacher. Till now i still have the keychain you made for us (its hanging on my school bag haha)

You were the best humble teacher I ever had. Remember how my math were quite you know.. bad? Well after I graduated, in secondary school, I've been getting As and Bs for math!! In PE, you showed up a lot of your videos and asked us to close our math or not flies will fly into our mouth HAHAHAHA I can't believe i actually fall for that. Anyways I hope you're proud of me.
