Certain diseases/ mutations that are found in a given race/ethnicity can be bred out. One example is tay Sachs disease which is usually only found in Jewish individuals. If a Jewish man or woman has kids with a non Jewish person, the likelihood of their offspring having the disease decreases significantly.
