A black hole was originally just a theory that Albert Einstein, he theorized that black holes exist in 1916, then in 1971, the first black hole was found, its name is Cygnus X-1. Black holes usually form from the remnants of a dead massive star that exploded into a supernovas, black holes are believed to evaporate in 1e+100 years. Which is a very long time.
