I learned how important culture is in communication between people who have differences. You need knowledge.
I'm proud of the mosaic we made together. It was a very nice project and I hope the school is happy with our work

Today we grout the mosaic art. The school was very grateful and like our gift. All pupils were very curious and tried to communicate with us. Children are curious and it is important to keep it that way. Education should focus more on creativity and curiousity. Furtermore we discused intercultural communication and did some games what gave me a lot of eye openers. Useful tools to use in class.

Today we grouted the mosaic. All the kids were happy to see us again and were enthousiastic. I spoke to then a bit more to get to know them. The kids were curious about our country, the languages we speak and what our job is. It’s important to keep the kids curious to learn.

Rita: I learned about miscommunication if you are not aware of the others culture and habits , so it’s important to be open , ask when something isn’t clear and to stay away from preconceptions

For this day we went to de primary school again to compleet the mozaïek. The result was perfect.
By Rita we spoken about miscommunication
in cross culture. I recognize also the barrier in understanding wen we speak in English
