Two families had a fight over a strip of land between each other that lasted decades.The two family leaders: Ulrich and George, hated each other. Eventually George entered Ulrich's territory, they both took their man but they confronted each other alone. They were going to fight but nature had other plans,suddenly a thunder made some branches fall and they trapped them.They slowly forgave each other but when they screamed for help they atracted wolves instead of their men. I think this is a very ironic story and that it leaves us scared because it was hard to expect that the ending would change so much the rest the story. Writen by: Lucia Suazo

While ulrich was in the floor bleeding in his eye, george was in the floor and both of them were unable to mové soo they start yelling at each other. The story begins on a stormy winter with Ulrich Gradwitz holding his rifle because he wants to hunt George Zneaym because he also consider that the forest was of him. Ulrich grandfather took legal ownership of the land from Georg's family, but they never accept the court's decision. Finally Ulrich and George finds face to face holding the rifle and wishes to murder him. Then a big winter storm make then get stuck by a tree that the men stepped around. A big mass of branches traps them both on the ground, injured and relieved to be alive they started to insult each other. They also agrees that the first men of Ulrich or Georg gets there first and arrive, they will roll the tree's trunk over th other man, kklling him. At the end of the story both majes peace and start to scream asking for help, Ulrich saw shadow and he was happy, but Georg Just laugh and said "wolves".

Basically the story starts with 2 families that where fighting for generations just for a piece of land for decades. so the 2 family leaders that their name were Ulrich and George, so basically they hated each oher a lot a the point that they want to kill each other . So then George entered to Ulrich´s land in the forest so then they find each other face to face so a tree was falling minwhile they were discusing , so the tree fell on their legs and get them trapped over ther for a long time so when the time past their were talking to each other to the point the they reconcile with each other so then they saw a bunch of siluetts at the horizon so they thought that those siluetts where their men so then they saw the siluetts were a pack of wolves so when the wolves saw them they go inmidiatlly to eat George and Ulrich.
Opinion: The story wants to showthat in the world are a lot of kind of ways to fix our problems with other people talking with them.

The story begins with two families, the Von Gradwitzes and the znaeyms fighting over a feud over generations, and is centered around a piece of land. The two protagonist, whose names are Ulrich Von Gradwitz and Georg Znayem, they've been sent into the forest by their parents to settle the dispute once and for all. As they look for each other in the darkness, they thought of the possibility of reconciliation. When they finally meet, they hesitate killing each other, they wanted to reconcile, but before they can do that a tree falls on them, and they can't free themselves, so they share wine, when they finally decided to scream for help instead of attracted their man they attracted wolves. I didn't expect that ending, it was a shock, and at the end when they forgive each other y was hoping for a better ending for them.

We start over 2 families on the Carpathian Mountains having a war over 3 generations, than we met George Znaeym and Ulrich von Gradwitz fighting over a piece of territory, Legally, Ulrich was the owner because his grandfather time ago took the land from George family, they were not satisfied and angry with the court decision, now in the next passage we see how George and Gradwitz are about to have an armed encounter, but... a thunder avoids this in a winter storm hitting the tree making it to fall down and hitting both of them. Gradwitz bleeding in his eye, George in the floor and none of them could move so they start arguing, or better to say, yelling, than they both agree to yell for help, they started calling for help, Ulrich saw a Shadow and was already relief, but George only laughed and said there were wolves

Once there were two men, Ulrich and Georg, which were fighting for a territory that their family has owned for generations. They despised each other ever since they were little.
One day they found each other in the territory, they had the intention to kill each other when suddenly a tree fell on top of them, crushing them and not allowing them to move. They were quick to threaten each other when they regained consciousness, but they soon realized that all of their fighting was a waste of time. They decided that they would much rather be friends than enemies.
When they reconciled, they decided to call out for help. After a while they could see black figures running towards them, they were relieved, until they realized those were wolves.

I think that this story is pretty ironic, because they had been fighting all their lives only to stop hating each other when Ulrich offered Georg some wine/whiskey while they were waiting to get saved

The story begins with 2 families fighting over a piece of land, the battle lasted 3 generations now at the present time of the story we are with George Znyaem heard a noise and went to check deep in the forest of Ulrich Von Grandwitz's family so these 2 stood face to face ready to kill each other, but neither could shoot because lightning struck the tree right in front of them and hit them leaving them unable to move then Ulrich woke up realizing he was bleeding from his left eye and George was next to him unable to move then they started arguing with each other to fight like they usually did until Ulrich seriously thought about why they had been fighting all their lives and now that they were trapped they thought about stopping fighting anymore, then they both decided to stop fighting Ulrich told him He offered George a drink and then they began to shout together to ask for help. They realized that shadows were seen in the distance and they were happy because they thought that They would be saved but the closer they got they realized that the shadows were wolves... They had been fighting for generations and the moment they got together and were going to stop fighting the wolves arrived.

The story begins with a war between two families, in these families there are two men, one named George and the other Urich. George and Urich have a conflict, as do their families. One day George was in the woods, it was night and there was a storm, Geroge was trying to hunt a deer, but he could not hunt it, then urich appears and there the arguments begin, George and urich start a fight. The storm dropped a tree and they were trapped, the two tried to free themselves but they couldn't. Urich took out a bottle, it looked like water, he did not give George, because they were still at war, time passed and they tried to free themselves, but seeing that they could not reconcile and worked as a team, Urich asked for help, they heard some footsteps in the forest, they were wolves that approached them and ate them. Opinion: This story leaves a good message, and I found it very interesting. Sometimes we must forget the past and get along with people, because we do not know if that person is the only one who can help us in the future.

The story of "The Interlopers" starts up in the Carpathian Mountains in southeast Europe The early 1900s. Our first main character is Ulrich he is the head of his family and he owns a piece of land in the forest and his enemy Georg his neighbour. Their families have been fighting for three generations over a piece of land. They encounter themselves in the forest both of them holding rifles without saying a word and hesitating to shoot each other. Eventually a thunder strikes the ground making a tree fall in their feet trapping them, the twigs from the tree lacerates Ulrich's face and partially blinding him with blood. Ulrich and Georg get to know each other and become friends. They shouted for help but instead attracted wolves.
My opinion: the story is pretty simple and straight to the point but one thing I didn't like was that it is to descriptive.

The story begins with one of our main characters in this tale named ulrich, he was in the forest trying to hunt a deer and waiting to kill some thieves that where disturbing his part of the forest, he waited all the day long he return but in that course he encounter another man named georg, ulrich was angry just to see him because georg family and his family where in a trouble of who was the owner of the forest ulrich propose georg to fight and see who will have all the forest in that discussion the weather change into a storm that make a tree fell down and leaving georg and ulrich trapped together, passing the time they get to know each other and become friends then ulrich scream for help but some shadows where approching making the two friends think they were saved but when the shadows were wolf ready to kill them.
my opinion: i like the story but the thing that thet have a remorse of a problem of the past is like hilarious also the end of the story is kind of unexpected by the wolf's killing them.

The Interlopers is a story about two men who meet in a plot of forest land they are feuding over, only to end up stuck under a fallen tree. They eventually end their feud, but are killed by wolves.

The wolves in The Interlopers symbolize the power of nature and fate. Although the two main characters initially intend to kill one another, it is nature that determines their destiny as they are killed by wolves.

The main theme in The Interlopers is that hatred can lead to tragedy. This is shown when the two main characters are trapped by natural elements and then killed by wolves as a result of their attempts to kill one another over a long-standing family feud.

The Irony is present in The Interlopers in the deaths of the two men. After initially intending to kill one another, they are reconciled, only to be killed by wolves instead.

Personal Opinion

It was very interesting the story but i think it was more smart to divide the lands or make a deal so both can be benefited.

One night, two men, Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym, found themselves in the woodlands of the Carpathian Mountains. They were both enemies trapped in land disputes that have been going on for generations. On this particular night, both hope to find the other to kill in defense of their property rights. Both men leave the hunting party and meet in the woods. Before either can shot each other with their riffles, a beech tree branch falls on the two men, trapping them both. The men quarrel at first, but soon realize the futility of revenge and reconcile. They indulge in dreams of a peaceful future and make plans to meet publicly as friends. After coming together, the two voices
combine to attract the attention of the hunting party. Ulrich sees a crowd approaching, presumably men, but Georg cannot see because of the blood in his eyes.As the crowd approaches, Ulrich realizes that the pack consists of wolves instead of humans. Opinion: It is a very interesting story that can happen in real life, of people fighting for a land inherited from a relavite, i think that trying to kill each other is not the best option.

Ulrich and Georg cant resist to fight but they solve their problems and offers help of their groups to each other so they start screaming for help and when they think someone was coming were some wolves coming to kill them.

Personal Opinion
Is a interesting story and ironic, they stay in a fight of decades and they solve their problems getting trapped on woods.

It all starts with Uldrich, a hunter whos sitting, hidden in the woods, not wating for any animal but for someone, specifically, a man named george, a member of the rival family of Uldrich.

He waits patientlly, until George appears, he rises his gun and aims, but George spots him,
"Dont move another muscle!"
Shouts George, he tries to defend himself, and pounces into Uldrich, they start fighting, but suddenly, a thunderstorm comes, big blizzards and thunders strike the forest.
One of the thunders hits a tree making it fell down, trapping both man, they try to escape, but they attempts to escape are futile.

Both man, even in the situation they are, they still fighting.
"HELP!, HELP!"
Shout both man, until they realize; they are trapped, life or death situation, and, they realize their ignorance, that even in such situation, they still fighting, and also hoy ignorant is to be in a fight, just beacuse our families are in a fight, they reconcile, and start yelling for help, together, but, unfortunatly, their yells, are only heard by a pack of wolves, who track them and eat them alive.

In my opinion:

It is a really good story, the narrative was really good, and how the story give details about the surroundings, the characters, etc.
I also like its message, and how we dont have to fight each other just because others are.

The Interlopers” takes place during a stormy night in a forest in Central Europe, “on the eastern spurs” of the Carpathian Mountains. This is part of the estate of Ulrich von Gradwitz, who is standing in the forest, as though waiting for some game to shoot. However, he is not stalking an animal but another man. Although Gradwitz has a large estate, on which game is plentiful, he guards this particular narrow and unremarkable strip of land with greater care than any other part of his holdings. Following a legal dispute in the time of his grandfather, the Gradwitz family reasserted their claim to the land after a neighboring family had taken possession. The Znaeyms, their neighbors, had refused to accept the judgment of the court, and there has been a feud between the two families ever since. As a result, Gradwitz hates Georg Znaeym and is always trying to catch him hunting—or, as Gradwitz sees it, poaching—on the land. The two have hated each other since boyhood, lending further fuel to the longstanding feud in the form of personal animosity

In a quiet forest of mixed growth somewhere in the carpathians; Ulrich chased a human and personal enemy, a man he hated over a parcel of land. He wandered the forest in search of Georg Znaeym, Ulrich was totally decided to kill that man with a gun. He strayed from his men and walked downhill to find his enemy by himself and just as he expected he was facing Georg, face-to-face they both pointed their guns toward each other, heisitant none of them shot, instead, a masive branch fell into both men, injured they began to mock each other until Ulrich realizes there's no reason to fight for such nonsense and befriends George. They shout for help when they see what they think are their men, they were a hungry pack of wolves.

opinion: the story is right, there is no reason to fight over material goods, and even after becoming friends they both payed for their conflict.

The characters in "The Intruders", Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym, have been enemies since birth. His grandparents fought over a piece of forest. Although the courts ruled in favor of the Gradwitz family, the Znaeym family never accepted this ruling. Throughout Ulrich and Georg's lives, the feud has become bloodthirsty and personal. As children, they despised each other, and by the night the story takes place, the two grown men are determined to end the feud by killing their enemy.

On this fateful night, Ulrich assembles a group of rangers to patrol the land in search of Georg. Separated from his men, he hopes to find Georg alone, and as he passes around a tree trunk, he gets his wish. The two men face each other, rifles in hand, but neither can make up their minds and suddenly a fierce howl of the storm had been answered by a crash overhead, and before they could get out of the way, a mass of beech trees had fallen. fell had rushed over them, trapping them without any being able to move.

Both believed that their rangers would rescue them and whoever arrived first would let the other die; While they were waiting for the wounded, they both began to reflect on their situation and the absurdity of fighting on land where the trees could not stand up and they thought of being friends, however, human help did not arrive and with a look of terror they saw that those who had arrived it was the wolves

This story teaches us that human beings waste a lot of time on meaningless things and we let ourselves be carried away by resentment and when we reflect it is already too late and time is running out.
