         <description><![CDATA[<div>Voyager Station is a rotating space station designed to produce varying levels of artificial gravity by increasing or decreasing the rate of rotation.&nbsp; Artificial, or simulated, gravity is essential to long term habitation in space.<br><br>The station has been designed from the start to accommodate business, manufacturing, national space agencies conducting low gravity research, and space tourists who want to experience life on a large space station with the comfort of low gravity and the feel of a luxury hotel.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Projected costs for the build are <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/werner-von-braun-hotel-space-tourism-gateway-foundation-orbital-assembly"><strong>estimated</strong></a> at $60 billion. In comparison, the International Space Station cost $150 billion and has a <a href="https://www.nasa.gov/feature/facts-and-figures"><strong>crew</strong></a> of seven, more during a handover. <a href="https://voyagerstation.com/"><strong>Voyager</strong></a> is projected to accommodate 100 crew and 300 guests.<br><br>OAC’s CTO and Chief Space Architect Dr. Tom Spilker, earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University and then worked for more than 20 years as both a scientist and engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the second decade of that as a Space Flight Mission Architect. Spilker worked on NASA’s Voyager, Cassini, and Genesis missions, and was a Co-Investigator for the MIRO instrument on ESA’s Rosetta mission.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Orbital Assembly Corporation (OAC), which earlier proposed the <a href="https://www.spacetechasia.com/meet-the-von-braun-station-the-most-advanced-rotating-space-hotel-design-to-date/">Von Braun Station</a>, is planning to build an in-space structure known as the Voyager Station, with an aim to complete it before 2030. The Voyager Station will be a 200-meter-wide rotating space habitat in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) able to host 400 people at once, spun for artificial gravity (at the lunar level at first, then Martian).          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Voyager Station, whose design is entrusted to the famous designer <a href="https://www.starck.com/">Philippe Starck</a>, will have a circular design: a mechanical organ very similar to a panoramic wheel.<br><br></div><div>The external architecture of the luxury resort will be composed of two concentric rings. The inner ring will be the landing place for passengers, as, for its central position, it is the most stable area of the station.<br><br></div><div>Thereby, through special corridors, the passengers will be carried by rail transportation system into the outer ring, which contains the housing modules, the scientific research modules and the commercial and entertaining modules.<br><br>The space base will rotate on both its own axis and around the Earth’s orbit, at 300 to 1000 kilometers of altitude. The diameter of the device will be around 200 meters, even larger than that of the ISS. The station will have more than 11.600 square meters of living space and will consist of 24 modules in total.<br><br></div>]]></description>
