This corner can be improved to make it more structured for students to know that it is the 'waiting area'. A shelf filled with toys/books and a mat/padded area will be good for this corner. And the art pieces should be removed if it is to be changed into a group work area. Also, I will prefer a kidney table for group activities as it fits 3 students and a teacher nicely. We have 2 work alone corners and we will usually conduct group activities in the middle of the classroom. The student's schedule boards are next to the entrance which is perfect as they are able to check their schedule easily.
