The Berlin Blockade

-The Berlin Blockade was a way that was established by the Soviet Union as a way to separate from anti-communist sites but they didn't just do that. By putting this wall up they didn't just block anti-communism but they also affected the Western Allies. This wall blocked the transport from the allies and there was no way to get in and give their allies supplies to win the war. Eventually though the U.S made the airlift which was the transportation of supplies to those blocked places by airplanes and any aircrafts. The wall was eventually taken down by the Soviets when they realized it never really had its effect.
The Space Race

-The Space Race was a race between the Soviets and the U.S as a way to see who was better when it came to space expansion and technology. The both countries raced each other on sending the first satellite to space, the first human in space , and the first man to the moon. This was a great battle between the two while they both had some success, but it is considered that the U.S won because they were the first to send a man to the Moon Neil Armstrong.
