This unit I liked learning about the 4 anatomical joints (fibrous, cartilaginous, synovial, and synostosis) helped me see how each joint type supports different levels of mobility and stability in the body. It also allowed me to identify the 3 planes of movement the saggital, frontal, and transverse planes. The diagrams we did allows me to list the 6 characteristics of the synovial joint

Articular cartilage: Covers the ends of bones for smooth movement

Joint capsule: Encloses the joint and contains synovial fluid

Synovial fluid: Lubricates the joint for smooth motion

Ligaments: Provide stability by connecting bones

Bursa: Cushion the joint, reducing friction

Meniscus: Provides shock absorption in certain joints (e.g., knee)

I can also identify all the bones of the appendicular skeleton. Like the scapula, clavicle, humerus, radius, ulna, femur, tibia, and fibula. Over all I learned so much about the human body this unit.
