How I felt reading today: I felt very focused in the beginning of my reading time and I suddenly became very invested in my book, which helped me. In the middle I was getting a bit off track and became a little less focused but by the end I snapped back into my book and I began reading intensely again.

I don't know how Tom felt or daisy/jay. I have never been in their situation so I cant completely feel empathy for them, on sympathy. I do understand how Daisy/Jay might feel about their relationship. They have loved each other for 5 years. Now that they are reunited, daisy falls back in love and they both decide it would be best if they kept their relationship in secret. I can understand that because I have been in similar situations. Other wise, I would recommend this book to any adult or teenager who loves this genre and someone who likes older made books. The author could have used it to exaggerate how horrible she thinks her name is. We understand why Esperanza might not like her name. If the author had used a different word, we might have not know what she really thinks.
