One of the most important environmental features is buffalo's. Buffalo's were useful for many things. For example, they used buffalo skins for clothes, tee pees, cooking bags and many other things.

When the great plain Indians went hunting, they would use bows made of wood or antlers, the string was sinew and the arrow would most likely be made of flint. People hid under buffalo skin to blend in so the buffalo's would not expect anything. When they got close enough they would shoot it with a bow and arrow.

One cultural thing that the great plain Indians would wear was buffalo skin/fur. They would most likely wear it in the winter probably because it was cold, and the warm soft heavy thickness of the fur would get them warm.

In the great plains, one of the most common homes or houses were tee pees. They were made of long/tall poles as the frame to hold up the buffalo skin. They would tie up the poles, and tie the skin around or through the poles. On the inside of the tee pees, the floor would have buffalo skin or fur. They might have a fire pit in the middle and add their own decorations inside of the tee pee.
