         <description><![CDATA[<div>This goal means supporting children to be confident in who they are.&nbsp; It teaches children to be proud of their family and their culture. Children will begin to demonstrate self-awareness, pride, and feel comfortable in their social identity. It assists the child with recognizing their worth.<br><br>Example: Lila, a 3 year old African American, says that she likes her curly hair and it is just like mommy's. Lila is showing confidence in her curly hair and showing pride of her hair she shares with a family member.</div>]]></description>
