<title>Sickle Cell Anemia is a genetic disease that concerns red blood cells. The cells have become misshapen resulting in the loss of oxygen in the body. A scientist determined that Sickle Cell Anemia is related to malaria. In places like Africa, sickle cell can protect you from Malaria. </title>

<title>The heterozygote advantage makes it so that you can carry the Sickle cell disease but not be affected by it, and use that carrying of the disease to defend against Malaria. Although this isn&#39;t the best for evolution because having offspring that could be affected by Sickle cell means they are at a disadvantage, it helped in the given situation because Malaria was killing everyone there.</title>
