Today, we discussed the topic of Hajj, which is the fifth pillar of Islam. I felt very excited because I got to share knowledge about this important act of worship, which brings many benefits to Muslims.

One of the benefits of performing Hajj is that it helps erase sins, and we are also promised Paradise by Allah. In addition, Hajj strengthens our faith and increases our devotion to Allah as His servants. Oh yaa, we also read Al-Mulk together hihi

That’s all from me for today.

In this usrah session, we discussed three pillars of faith in Islam: belief in Allah, belief in angels, and belief in the holy books. As I understand, all Muslims are obligated to believe in these three pillars of faith to strengthen their iman (faith) and taqwa (piety) as servants of Allah, the Almighty.

I have also learned about the ten names of angels, each with their own specific duties. In addition, there are four holy books that every Muslim must know: the Zabur, the Torah, the Injil and the Quran.

That’s all for my sharing today.Bye-bye!

Today, we focus on three Pillars of Iman. Firstly, we discussed about Belief in Rusul and Anbiya' which means believing that Allah sent messengers and prophets to guide humanity, with Prophet Muhammad as the final messenger. Other than that, we also learned about Belief in Qiyāmah refers to faith in the Day of Resurrection, when all humans will be resurrected and judged for their deeds. Lastly, Belief in Qadā’ and Qadar is the acceptance that everything happens according to Allah’s divine will and predestination, encompassing both good and bad events. These beliefs reinforce trust in Allah’s wisdom and justice.

That's all from me, bye byeee!

We learned about The truth of the Judgment Day (Qiyāmah). It is a fundamental belief in Islam, signifying the day when all humans will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds. On this day, Allah will judge every individual with absolute justice, rewarding the righteous with Paradise and punishing the wrongdoers in Hell.

It is a day of truth, where no one can escape accountability, and every action, big or small, will be weighed. Belief in Qiyāmah encourages Muslims to live a righteous life, remain conscious of their deeds, and seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

That's all byebyeee!

As children, we must uphold good manners towards our parents. Respecting our parents can be the key to either Paradise or Hell. If we maintain good manners and character towards them, Allah will reward us with blessings. That is all for my sharing today.

A sincere intention to seek the pleasure of Allah gives value to our deeds. As the hadith teaches, actions are judged by intentions. Once the right niyyah is set, one must perform righteous actions, stay consistent, avoid showing off (riya’), and do everything with excellence (ihsan). This alignment of intention and action is what brings true meaning and reward in the sight of Allah.

That's all for today's usrah.

Back again for our next usrah session!

Today, we discussed the topic “Preparation for Salah with Khushu’.”

As we know, to achieve khushu’ in salah, one must begin with proper preparation especially through taharah (purification). Physical cleanliness reflects spiritual readiness and helps the heart stay focused during prayer. Taharah is performed through wudhu’, ghusl (in a state of major impurity), or tayammum (when water is unavailable). These acts not only make salah valid but also prepare the mind and soul for a deeper connection with Allah.

Fulfilling the pillars of salah, such as intention, recitation, bowing, and prostration, ensures the prayer is complete and meaningful. The validity of salah (sah) depends on key conditions like proper purification, covering the ‘awrah, facing the qiblah, and praying within the prescribed time.

For those travelling, Islam provides concessions through jama’ (combining prayers) and qasar (shortening four-unit prayers) to help maintain consistency and devotion even in times of difficulty.

In summary, preparation through taharah, observing the pillars and conditions of salah, and understanding the flexibility of jama’ and qasar all help a believer to perform salah with sincerity, calmness, and true khushu’.

Okayy, that’s all for today! 😊

It also teaches patience, as one refrains from food, drink, and desires. Sawm develops self-discipline and control over the nafs (ego), encouraging the believer to avoid sinful acts. Fasting nurtures empathy and compassion toward the poor, as it allows one to experience hunger and hardship. Additionally, it builds gratitude for Allah’s blessings and sincerity, as only Allah truly knows the effort behind the fast. Through all this, Sawm strengthens a person’s spirituality and moral character.

Okay, that’s all for today!

Today's usrah, we discussed about VIRTUES FOUND IN ZAKAH/SADAQAH.

🌿

Zakah and sadaqah cultivate powerful moral and social virtues. They nurture generosity by teaching Muslims to give sincerely for the sake of Allah, not for praise or reward.

These acts also help purify the soul from greed, pride, and selfishness. Zakah promotes social justice by reducing the gap between the rich and the poor, and ensuring the needy are supported. Through giving, a Muslim also builds gratitude for what they have and develops a stronger sense of empathy and responsibility toward others. It strengthens community bonds and reminds us that wealth is a trust from Allah to be shared.

That's all from me!
