The experimenter failed to be a moral leader, because the experimenter allowed the prisoner to suffer for the things he/she didn't do. This experiment as a whole reflects culture of results. A culture where the institutions are failing to regulate and organize the society, just like how the experimenter failed to organize the experiment. Institutions only work towards goal and results, and the immoral actions they commit to achive it, creates inequality.

There are many relationships in this experiment. The most obvious one is the relationship between experimenter and the volunteers. The students volunteered help the experimenter to complete his unethical experiment, they did what he required, they chose to play the role. The experimenter didn’t notice how unethical this experiment is, and even he found the ethical part, but it still went on for 6 days. The experimenter sees the volunteers just as subjects that help to complete the experiment but not as humans. If there is no experiment, their relationship must just be professor and students, probably human and human, but in the experiment, there is only the experimenter and subjects.

Failures don’t exist coincidentally, there must be an institution or leadership that lead the whole situation to a failed ones. In the Stanford Prisoner Experiment, the experimenters can be defined as the leadership who leads the experiment to failure. The experimenter fails the experiment because they allowed the guards to actually punish the prisoners, and didn’t stop the experiment where it should be stoped. The immoral action they’ve done and the unethical system they’ve created made impacts on the people who was doing the experiment. Moreover, their behavior not only reflects how they are failing, it’s also a mirror of what the culture does. The leadership and institutions should be responsible for the regulation and organization of the society, and if they don’t manage everything properly, the consequence and failure will slowly permeate to the people. So, the failure of culture usually reflects the failure of institution and leadership, and the failure of institution and leadership, actually explains the failure of culture or a particular situation.

Reasoning Luna 9.1 Different characters in the jells have different missions to complete, so their reasoning that keeps them in the position are different. Firstly, the immoral reasoning of the experimenters is that they are assigned the mission to finish, so they have to finish the experiment according to the plan. Secondly, the reasoning of how guards keep punishing the prisoners and even take it serious is because they are paid to finish the experiment in time. Also, when they got power and authority to control and manipulate others’ life, the superiority make them abuse their power and to do whatever they want. This also reflects the unethical system that the institution and leadership failed to the culture. Then, the prisoners keeps in their way of being the prisoners are just simply because they volunteered and they are paid to finish the experiment.
