         <description><![CDATA[<div>The grass family is provider of sugarcanes from, which we obtain sugar. Honey was the replacement of sugar in the beginning process in playing the role of a sweetener. The Indians and the people of Papua New Guinea were the first adopters of sugar.<br><br></div><div>In the early period around 500AD, Indians started using sugar crystals by converting it from sugarcane as it was more comforting for exporting sugar as trades. Moving further in time, when the Buddhist monks started using crystallization method in the 7<sup>th</sup> century, as sugar cultivation had become traditional. Cooking with sugar became a huge part In the middle east as they started large farms for the cultivation of sugar and the first ever sugar factory. When the war broke out between the Middle East and Europeans in the 12<sup>th</sup> century, sweet salt was found and it had replaced honey in the market.<br><br></div><div>As new products started rising up in the markets of Asia and Europe, Christopher Columbus had taken sugar in a different direction. The new world was introduced to sugar in the 15<sup>th</sup> Century, the native Americans were to forced to work in the sugar cultivation followed by the African slaves. Sugar In the 18<sup>th</sup> century was started being in chocolate, candy, tea and coffee to name a few.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>The rise of sugar consumption in America in the 21<sup>st</sup> century, as shown in the bar graph had immensely grow throughout the years of 1970 till 1999, the number of pounds per person has had a huge increase as well carrying from 122 till up to 158.<br><br></div><div>Looking over the history and today’s generation, the rise of sugar is nearly unstoppable and the consumption of sugar has reached a point were it’s per kilogram per person per week, and has been growing ever since, what was luxury once has turned in a health risk.<br><br></div>]]></description>
