         <description><![CDATA[<div>  Baron De Montesquieu was one of the pivotal political philosophers in the Age Of Enlightenment. He was born in France in the year 1689. After the loss his parents, his uncle took him in. He became a counselor of the Bordeaux Parliament in 1714. The Baron married Jeanne De Lartigue, a protestant, who bore him three children. Montesquieu was born in the time where England went through the Glorious Revolution. These political and governmental changes had a huge impact on Montesquieu. He became famous due to his theory of the separation of powers. </div>]]></description>

His father got him a job and he was a secretary for a french ambassador in Netherlands. After that Voltaire was forced back to France. He was against religious tolerance and freedom of thought. He supported the constitutional monarchy.</div>]]></description>

His mother died from childbirth and he grew up with his dad, who taught him how to believe that the city of his birth was a republic as splendid as Sparta or ancient Rome. Mme de Warnes was a woman of taste, intelligence and energy that brought out in Rousseau.</div>]]></description>

With her many unsuccessful love affairs and drama, she died at age 38. Her daughter Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin became a writer herself and encompassed more fame than her mother with Frankenstein. Mary (the mother) wrote one of the first feminist works. She promoted feminine equality and influenced the views of many people. </div>]]></description>
