The first reason is that we gain values through education. Whatever we learn during lessons will be useful to us in our lives. For example, we learn values such as respect, responsibility and honesty. By showing respect to our classmates it also helps to build a good habit of showing respect towards others and in the future when we are in the working force we can show respect to them and others will do the same back as well. Being responsible shows that you know that you did something which is wrong and thus admitting to it and trying to solve the problem instead of pushing the blame to someone else who is innocent. Being honest shows that you are truthful and sincere. By doing so, people around you is able to trust you.

For example a graduate student might get into profound jobs to as compared to other people who do not have a stable education, as such they might have a lower percentage to get the job they want. This means that formal education is very important in the society nowadays as it help people to achieve more in life.

Formal education provides us with the qualifications and credibility for us to jump onto a profession. Going through 10 years of compulsory education would at least give us the knowledge and structure for us to achieve a certain kind of achievements on an annual basis. Without formal education , one will not be able to attain the credibility of earning a diploma or a degree for example, to be warranted a a good employment in the future. Individual success would usually be pursued through having a good employment which earns them a relatively high salary for them to afford the materialistic wealth and wants as compared to someone else who is earning a meagre salary through odd-jobs or a lower skilled profession. Thus formal education is required for one to have a platform of earning himself in a good profession with a high salary.

The first reason is what we are being taught in school are knowledge, values and the right way in life that we learnt over formal education. By this, i mean that education is important to ensure as that we have a purpose in life and knowing as much knowledge we can throughout the 10 years of compulsory education by the government. For example, jobs nowadays are harder for people to qualify for them as more and more companies have increase the minimum requirement to get a job such as a diploma and a degree. This will then increase the competition between people who are trying to get employed. Moreover, in order to get to the stage of getting degrees and diplomas, we must go through formal education to be able to understand more things in life.
Therefore, formal education is necessary and important to everyone to ensure a growing and stronger knowledge in the human race.

The first reason is that we learn important things for our daily life through education. By this i mean that this education can lead us to have a good experience for our future. Not only that, we also learn values that could help us to become successful in life such as being self-directed and responsible. For example, in secondary school we need to be self directed to do our homework and hand it in on time. Moreover, this example also shows that we are responsible of our own school work. Therefore, education is a key to success.

(other perspective)

It is not truly necessary to be successful with a formal education if one has a vast amount of experience and sharp skills to be successful in whatever he or she pursues. There are cases where we would see successful entrepreneurs who are lead a more successful life because he or she is skillful enough to prosper in the industry that they pursue in. It takes years of experience for them to learn from their past mistakes to seek better solutions to their problems; something that formal education may not be able to equip them with. Therefore, even though some individuals may not have not gone through any formal education, they are still able to achieve success as they would have the experience and skills to achieve it.

Those values are imparted through our teachers who have taught us.For example,an employer would not hire you just because your grades and qualifications are excellent. If your character is not good , they would not hire you as you would not work well with others and you will only cause trouble for the company you are working for. You can brag as much as you want about your grades but if your character is not good,it will not help you in anyway if you want to get a job. They would rather hire a person who has a better character and qualifications that are passable. Grades is not everything that the employers look at. Thus, formal education is important.

By this statement, it already means that people needs to keep studying to help themselves to gain new skills and knowledge always to be able to keep up with our peers as well as the standard set by our parents for us. This is provided by formal education as it helps us to know more about the world and how it helps us in many different ways, such as developing life skills such as the ability to lead a group of people to accomplish a set of task.

In addition, formal education helps us to gain the qualifications and credibility required to get a job. We would go through at least 15 years of education. we would be able to get a diploma or degree after all that and it would be used when we go and get a job.For example, a person who goes through private school would not get accepted into a job if the institution they went is not approved by the country. So the person have wasted his or her efforts getting that certification. Thus, formal education is important.

firstly with formal education everyone will be able to find work .By this i meant that without sufficient education people will not be able to what they want Therefore, causing them not to be able to achieve their goals and succeed their life. For example, a friend of mine was studying in the same school that i was studying in and he had a lot of goals. Such as going to united states. one day he got bullied by a bully. after that day he did not come for school for the rest of the year. This happened during the year that we are suppose to take our 'N' levels exam. i called him and told him to not be scared and asked him to come to school. But he did not and then he said that he will take his 'N' levels as a private candidate. His father got a tutor to teach the subjects that he is taking for 'N' and he only took two subjects. At the end he failed half the subjects that that he took. This lead to his down fall and now he is not able to go to poly or even ite. he said that ite rejected him. Now he is working as a cleaner a the British club.
