 I don't think there are any social issues as when the kids go down to the playground they just makes friends with each other as I have also have became friends with them even with the age gap.

My neighbourhood is called Chua Chu Kang.When taking my photos I have some observation which were, the people in this neighbourhood are kind, cheerful and fun to play.I remember while taking the pictures I saw a man giving away not only seeds but also plants to the neighbours telling them that they could finally have their first seed or plant. This made me new that this neighbourhood was not only very good but helpful.My neighbourhood do not have people who have social issues, but there is a problem which I realized and is that the teenagers usually litter on the floor with packets drinks any many more.Some even vandalized not only the floor but also the equipments in the playground. Something new that I had discover was that the moment the playground was newly built last year I could see that the exercising corner had a tool for the elderly to use but after sometimes I could see that parts of it was broken and in the end it was wrapped up with a sign saying that no one was supposed to use it. I can still recall whenever I go to school or come home I would see elderly people using it but when it was destroy I felt devastated since that was one of the thing that they usually use to exercise. • The name of my neighbourhood is Bukit Batok
• Some observations I made was that no one would be outside in the forest at night and it was very peaceful when there was no significant noise or chatter. The place was very huge too and was kept clean
• Something that I found interesting was that the area was clean
• Some social issues were people were not aware of the serendipity of the forest
• There were no signs of new stories that I discovered, as I did not pay close attention to the nature 
• I think that there are nothing disturbing about my neighbourhood
• I would like to investigate more about is the playground as it is the most amount of people visiting it

And lastly the third thing i have realised is that one of my neighbours has a colourful flower that spins when the wind blows to it. And all the neighbours is kind,friendly,helpful and also really supportive. I remebered while i was taking pictures i saw this one lady walking her dog out with music playing on her phone it was really peaceful and not only she walked her dog outside with her she even let otherlittle kids pet her dog and played with them that was a heartwarming thing to see. This not only made me realise that the neighbourhood is kind and helpful but everyone here is very welcoming and always have a smile on their faces.My neighbourhood do not have people who have social issues, but there is one problem, one of my neighbours likes to keep alot of stuff and hog up the space near the lift and also near our corridors. It distrubs others when they are moving big items as it is squeezy to move the stuff. The observations that i observe in my neighbourhood is that it is quiet and also clean. But as i also observe, the child care kids will go out with their teachers to walk around. Also in the evening on the weekday, the children would run to the playground and play, which is when the noise starts. I have seen an interesting   Some social issues is some neighbours hardly interact with others. Because of this, i hardly also dont see my neighbour. What I realised is that the court where people play soccer is cleaner than before. The last time i went there was 6 years ago before it was being renovated. Now i see it looks cleaner. I also realised that there are a few houses facing the canal (the houses and canal in between is a track, the houses are on top, there a stairs to go down to the tracks). Something disturbing is that there would be people smoking around my neighbourhood and it is making me feel a bit uncomfortable. I discovered that there is a very huge old tree in my neighbourhood. I didn't know that there was such an old tree near my neighbourhood. I would like to investigate more about the houses at the back. I did not notice that many of my neighbours have planted plants outside their house/at their corridoor , which I just noticed. This neighbourhood is special to me as I've been living here ever since I was borned and I had made many memories here. Something that I took for granted is the people living in the same neighbourhood as me, but now I understand not to take them for granted as I used to have friends in this neighbourhood and my siblings and I were close to them and now we lost contact with them. Some deeper social issues are that even the neighbourhood is green and clean, I still see litter on the floor and many cigarette bud's on the floor. Some observations I made about my neighborhood is that there will always be people playing at the void deck until evening. There would also be people always throwing rubbish down from the windows and the grass patches would always be dirty. Something interesting about my neighborhood is that there is a rooftop garden but there is rarely and people that goes there now. Some social issues is that there would be people that turns on their music too loud and it would be disturbing. There would also be some shouting very loudly at night and that caused me to have difficulty sleeping at night. Some new stories that I under covered was that my block has more Malay people than Indian and Chinese people. The thing that was disturbing about my neighborhood is that there would be people from high levels throwing down bottles and it would make a loud noise when it drops or the bottles can hurt other people when they are walking. In my neighbours hood I notice that my neighbours are interacting with one another at the restaurant right below the HDB block which make it convenient for us to interact while having our lunch, I also noticed that my grandma is very close with two of my neighbours even though their flats are further away .I also noticed that rather then having a ghost town for a neighbourhood, it is often loud. Besides having such an interactive neighbourhood it is also convenient for all of us living in this HDB block because there is a McDonalds and a hawker centre built on the first lvl of the block. Besides observing the interactions of all my neighbours I also noticed that the stores worker here know a lot of the customers which is nice. While I was taking my pictures I also noticed that there were two groups of kids playing soccer and basket ball at the basketball and soccer fields connected to our playground and near my HDB block I noticed that there was a tennis court where some elderly’s were playing tennis.However even though everyone is very interactive there are still litter such as used tissues and dead cockroaches everywhere but the area still gets cleaned by some workers who collect the trash and put it in their trash car that looks handmade. Although the Neighbourhood seems nice there are some nights where there will be a festival at the field right in front of my block and because of this I cannot sleep up till 12-2 a.m. I would not mind this if it was a weekend since I would sleep late anyways but this is during school nights and it just one of the many disadvantage of living in such convenience everyday.

The observations that I observe in my neighbourhood is that it is noisy and sometimes the void deck is clean but sometimes dirty. There's also a my first school under my block. I have observed that my neighbourhood likes to decorate their houses a lot, especially during special occasions such as the Chinese New Year decorations shown in one of my photographs. My neighborhood is also very popular for its many hawker centers. Currently, there are three hawker centers in my neighborhood. I also noticed that there is a lot of elderly exercising at the exercise area when I’m walking to the bus station in front of Bukit Gombak MRT station. There is also a brand new park that just opened and the butterfly garden was beautiful, with the small rocks to allow people to cross over easily and the sunset view which I could stare at for hours. Around my neighborhood, the view will always be very calming and pretty at any time of the day, even night time. In addition, I can also spot rainbows! When walking to my primary school, I would also always pass by HDB blocks that would always decorate their corridors with flower fans that would spin beautifully when there is wind. During the holidays, my family would also go to the courts in my neighborhood to play badminton, the courts will always be used by other people, especially in the evening so my family will always go during the afternoon even though the sun is scorching hot. Now, sometimes at the courts, some secondary school students might do some rebellious things in public such as vaping and underage smoking, they can also disturb the neighborhood by making very loud noises or blasting loud music. The new story I uncovered was that one day, after I ate my lunch, I heard fire sirens just right beside my HDB block. Out of curiosity, I went downstairs following the fire sirens. When I reach the area where firefighters are going upstairs, a lot of people are crowding around, wanting to find out what happened. It turns out that the HDB block Level Two right beside my HDB block, caught on fire, there were also police putting duct tape around the void deck and HDB block Level Two. From what i observed, Bukit Batok is quite peaceful. for example, people are respectful of each other's privacy and boundaries, while still maintaining a sense of community. neighbors also know each other by name and greet each other when they see each other on the street. the neighborhood has a strong sense of tradition and a diverse mix of people of different cultures and backgrounds. there are My neighbourhood has a ton of road connections everywhere forming 2 circles and the view from the top of the roads looks amazing. The camera did not capture the full quality of the view but regardless, it still looks great. My neighbourhood is right next to The Rail Mall containing tons of restraunts and supermarkets where we occationally go to eat. Some of my neighbours are really noisy aruguing alot or trying to train their dog(I think)but I think the noise from the others are completly fine and i can still enjoy whatever I am doing in my house. The observations that I have made is that when the carpark is empty, I get to see more details in the carpark, Like how the building was designed so that it could allow more cars to be housed in one building. There is also a preschool near my house. 
Something that i found interesting is that there were a lot of potted plants on the rooftop of my carpark.
I do not see any major social isssues with my neighbourhood.
I do not think there is anything disturbing about my neighbourhood.
I would like to investigate more about the mini gardens in my neighbourhood

It's just liek a peaceful haven, a place where one can escape the hustle and bustle in qwork or school or the always occupie and find some tranquility. The park under my block is  typically tree lined and some point in time there is still traffic and constructio  noise, making it a very realistic. At other times when there are lesser traffic notices like at night for example, it gives me that kind od serene and relaxing environment vibe.And I got to admit that for the past few years that I have been in this neighbourhoo , i think that my neighbourhood havs that sense of community, where neighbors look out for one another and come together to create a sense of belonging. Like just every few months, there are always a large group of volunteers that went around go from door to door to collect reusable and recyclable stuffs like newspaper. I find that even though there are litters found around , but one thing you can notice is that tge grasses are well-maintained homes with neatly trimmed lawns and gardens. In my opinion, i feel that my neighbours realky take pride in their properties and often participate in beautification projects to keep the area looking pristine. I said that because there's a car park next to mimy block and everyday , I would see some of the residents from other blocks and my block coming together to make the garden on the carpark look nicer and they even set up lots of very gorgeous equipments to make the place look and feel more cozy. Other then those residents, other neighbours don't really participate much-probably because they are bust with work. I have observed that my neighbourhood is that there are many cat-lovers and health-conscious people that live around my area. For example, in the 3rd picture shows a cat that is loved by many of us. It is owned by a family that lives on the first floor. The cat usually naps at a small area near the window. Sometimes after school, I would spend some time petting the cat. The grandmother in the family allows us to pet or feed the cat too. I remember seeing a mother and her daughter feeding the cat a few times and petting it.  I find it wholesome watching them feed and have fun with the cat because the pet rules in HDB blocks are very strict and some of us might not have a pet to play with. Another instance, after a long day at school, while i was walking home, I caught a glimpse of 2 primary school boys petting a cat. I walked towards them to get a better view and saw that the cat had a collar that wrote the block number of the owner. After years of not knowing, I then realised that it was not a stray cat and it had an owner. I was stunned to find out as I had spent years thinking that it was a stray cat. Around my neighbourhood, I have seen many people exercising at the park over the years. Their ages vary from teenagers to older aunties and uncles. As a child, I would cycle with my brother almost everyday around the park. We would also play in the playground with some of our friends that live nearby or friends that we met there. We always had a wonderful time playing hide and seek or catching. I feel elated that the people in my neighbourhood takes care of their health and exercises frequently. Something interesting about my neighbourhood is that it is very convenient. My HDB block is located near the MRT station and 3 shopping malls. It takes just 5 minutes to walk to Hillion Mall. Therefore, I am grateful and lucky to live in such a. convenient neighbourhood. However, something disturbing is that some teenagers have been vaping openly in public. This is against the law and should be taken more seriously for young adults like us. Some secondary school students have also been making quite a racket at our neighbourhood at night. I have heard screams and loud talking.  This might disturb some of us who are already asleep or even with just work. In my opinion, I think this social issue is considered small as there are many more important ones such as racism and homophobia. I uncovered that Bukit Panjang means “long hill” in Malay, which my mother had recently explained. I think the reason behind it was that Bukit Panjang has a long stretch of buildings and is considered a big area. I want to investigate more about the hawker centre near my neighbourhood as it was recently closed down for renovation but I do not know if it has opened yet. I would like to discover more about the hawker food and culture.

I can hear kids screaming and see them run around the courtyard below my block. In the pictures i took, it seems very "abandoned" because i took it during noon where most of the children have went home already. Even though i dont really go out, i do know what is going on around my neighbourhood all the time since i can just watch from my window. The scenery is nice when looking for top to down view and I have a strong connection with my neighbors which I usually chat with during my free time and COVID affected me but I think we still kept on contact and chat with each other daily.
