I would set up the class, by putting the tables near each other not to close tho. Put the paint on the table ( each table) and show them a sunset paint.

I would tell them i did a sunset paint and explain how i did it.

Not to put too much water on the brush and put paint on the brush. Do an orange/yellow colour. I would tell them that they are doing a good job on paint. Tell them I’m proud that can use paint.

I would gently tell that paint doesn’t go on other children or table, paint only goes on papers or object.

-holly

Add up to the imagination.

If a child starts to paint another child or eat the paint.

Step in between the children and remind them paint stays on paper, tell them they can paint a person on their paper. ask all children “are we painting on paper or on our friends?” They’ll reply paper!
