         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Artifact 1 – Student notes – after choosing a topic, students will find the best way to represent their first contact with the material (focus on skills). Options will be in form of:  <ul><li>frayer models </li><li>summary and bullet points </li><li>kwl charts </li><li>Video examples from YouTube with accompanying notes. These are the first artifacts to walk the audience through the initial learning process. </li><li><br></li></ul></li><li>Artifact 2 - Next will be the interpretation process, using close reading strategies to analyze word problems. An assessment bank will be available for students to pull questions from and show the audience how their strategies are used to solve problems. Students recording a video or audio of an example is also acceptable.</li><li>Artifact 3 – The students can solve a problem on the board, filmed for the class (with permission) posted to the site. OR Display a FAME task that they have solved on poster paper to display their solution and rational. </li><li>Artifact 4 – Students will review a classmates’ padlet on their site and add a link to it. This will form a network of topics.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
