Things are not great. This is Sin. Relations between God and God's creation are not the best because God saw that humans, which are part of his creation, were being wicked and evil. God became upset and said that he must wipe animals and humans out from the earth. "When the Lord saw how great the wickedness of human beings was on earth...the Lord regretted making human beings on the earth, and his heart was grieved" . Noah was good and had a good relationship with God. He and his family were the only people who obeyed God at the time and God knew and saw that. "... Noah found favor with the Lord".

Noah's story and experience remind me that everyone is human and a part of God's creation. It tells me that I am part of God's creation and that God wants me to share his creation with others. God wants us to share his creation with each other and appreciate it. Noah's story and experience also tell us that our relationship with others and God might become weaker when we sin.

D.) How is Noah's experience: 1. Similar to Cain and Abel's experience? 2. How is it different from Cain and Abel's experience?

1.) Noah's experience is similar to Cain and Abel's experience because both involved sin and repentance. God reached out to both Cain and Noah.

2.) It is different from Cain and Abel's experience because Cain killed Abel, his brother, while Noah did not kill. Noah obeyed God and knew that God was with him always. Cain thought that God would punish him for killing Abel and felt scared, while Noah knew God was present and would forgive.

- What is revelation?: Revelation means "unveiling" or 'to reveal'.

-Does revelation complement human reason in allowing us to know and to experience God? How? : Revelation does complement human reason with God because it helps us see and know God. Revelation allows us to see God within ourselves and allows us to be aware of God's presence.

- What is a covenant? A covenant is a wholehearted agreement between God and humans. God completely commits himself to human beings and a covenant seals this commitment.

- What does God promise Noah? God makes a covenant with Noah and promises him that never again would a flood destroy the earth.

-Do you think this means that Noah must make promises to God? Why/Why not? : Yes, I think this means that Noah must make promises to God because God makes promises out of pure love and keeps them. Making promises to God and keeping them, or making a covenant with God, strengthens our relationship with Him but he will still love us no matter what.

It reminds me were all from God we were all created and came from God. But since we are human we make mistakes we hurt God and we hurt ourselves and we ultimately hurt God very bad. So we always have to make sure to have a strong relationship with God along with others.
