Though, when Agatha is introduced at the beginning of her journey, she is insecure and vulnerable, she develops a sense of confidence and self worth that can only be granted to her by her own mind. While not typically viewed as positive traits, Agatha is solitary in her school and is often referred to a "lone wolf". This furthers instills her self-reliant ways. The line, "I just don't belong here," is paralleled by the message of, "Society everywhere is in conspiracy against the manhood of every one of its members," as it depicts the emotions of Gabriella as she separates from her friends.
