abo---- Imagine a scene where two of your favorite characters from completely different genres meet. What would they discuss? Do they get along? If you need a refresher on punctuating dialogue, here is a helpful article.

- Write a detailed description of the following places. Try to show, not tell. Use some figurative language.
       - Creepy Building
       - Lush rainforest
        - Campfire
        - School hallway

- If you have someone to play with, you could play a writing game. Set a timer for 30 seconds. Write the beginning of a story. When the time is up, cover every line of your story up except the last line. Switch paper with your partner(s). Set another timer for 30 seconds. Continue the story that your partner wrote only knowing what happened in the last line. Repeat until your paper makes its way back to you. Read your story aloud - it will have turned out much different than how you started it!

-Get inspired by art and music! Imagine what is happening in a scene depicted in a picture, or base a story based on what you hear in a piece
