Day one: First day of STEM was pretty boring because we didn't really get time to work on our project. The first day of our signature project was interesting. Although we didn't work on our project at all we definitely learned a lot about social media and how it impacts us. The lessons that stood out to me were the humanities lesson in which we learnt about about how social media makes us more lonely. I found day 2 pretty intriguing. We learnt about a bit about UX and UI design, coding and developing apps and how there is a coded system behind each website. We had a specialist speaker come in at the end of the day  to talk to us about website and app designing and how simple it is if you take out all the details and colour and see how simple the layout is. On day 2 we mainly learnt how to plan the design of our website. We learnt a bit about how to code but the day was mainly centred around getting a base idea for our website. At the end of the day we had a speaker called Joe come in to talk to us. He worked as a UX designer and taught us how to create a wireframe to help us plan our website. We were showed a wireframe which ended up being Justin Bieber's website. I spent the first two periods working on the website; adding some more features and fixing up some old issues. Then during period 3 and 4 we had the Year Sixes evaluate our product. We then evaluated some other girls products and finished with evaluating our own product and group work.
