This class was filled with new material that I was not aware of. Using the different tools helped me a lot in preparing for the next instance, that is, preparing for class observations. It gave me an insight as to what teaching is about, the hard work it is put into this profesion. The different tools provided me with what I can hopefully use for when i have to do my residence in 4th year. Maybe not so much technologically but for example, I can make use of one of the exercises in Hot Potatoes to print out. All in all, ICT has been helpful in my learning process to get more accustumed to use online apps and softwares to make classes more dinamic, something I did not make use of.

Overall I believe I have improved in everything, each tool has its own trick to understand and making use of each one allows you to provide a wide variety of exercises for students. Since nowadays kids utilize their phones, computers, and tablets frequently a great tool that I consider helpful is Powtoon, when using it for tutorials and lessons. I believe this app provides kids with ´´on the go´´ help since you can publish it on a blog and on youtube, which is a website everyone uses.

As I have mentioned before, I believe in the future I can exploit the software Hot Potatoes and also Powtoon. I can maybe, if it is made possible, implement flipped classroom. Give students activities published on a blog and then during class give explanations and also help students with the activities given. Using Powtoon can help student view learning in a whole different way because it is in a form of a video, filled with color, things that keep kids and teenagers interested and entertained. The same for Hot Potatoes, this software although it may not include colorful pictures and such, it does provide activities that are helpful in teacher planning.

Set 3: Video conference, VoIP, virtual classrooms.

In video conferences, we resort to the visual connection of two or more people that reside in different locations. This makes it more easier for people to connect with others in that it provides transmission of full-motion video images and high-quality audio between many locations. Some examples of this include Facetime which belongs to Apple, Skype which belongs to Microsoft and also Hangouts that is owned by Google. In the case of VoIP, it stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. This is used for alternative phone calls that can be cheap or completely free, used via online with internet connection and with obviously a computer that has a microphone and speakers. This new trend of using VoIP as new technological advancement has proved to be a success and of great acceptance. Finally, regarding virtual classrooms it is an online classroom that allows contributors to communicate with one another, view videos and interact with each other in order to complete or learn a certain task. In this it also includes groups, it is something like a video conference, but a virtual classroom is more especific because it involves a certain topic regarding education whereas, video conference it is frequently used for businesses or for communicating with a family member or friend who lives in another location.
I would most likely make use of virtual classroom, in order to make a class group where we can all connect and do activities and exchange ideas and videos that can be helpful for learning different topics. I consider it to be a safe and helpful tool for those who could not attend a class and by setting a date and time we can set a class via online interactions. That way we can include everyones opinion and all the students can interact and swap ideas and doubts. Group activities are sometimes more effective than individually. In my opinion this serves as a great educational purpose. In relation to VoIP and video conference, both could benefit to the learning process but using virtual classrooms would be more appropriate.
