         <title>Identity Resource 1 Dream Time Stories (How the Birds Got Their Colours)  Suitable for Three years old Justification  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><br><br><br><br></div><div>The Book I chose for the children from Aboriginal Dreamtime stories about How the Birds Got Their Colours. It has been brought to my attention According to the story children understand the culture of life from these stories. Apart from the lesson children will participate the activities according to the colours. &nbsp;</div><div>(Improving teaching in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education: Australian Professional Standards for Teachers n.d.) According to the standards as a Teacher I encourage indigenous and non-indigenous get to involve of the story with questioning to the students. It is the opportunity for the children to share their stories orally in small groups. The video presentation gives a more visual understanding of the story. Children will also talk about parrot colours and participate in birds' sanctuary excursions. It will talk about the ancestor spirits and formed the natural features of the earth. Children also learned This activity is helps for an open space to share with their group members. It may be encouraged to think about how the characters of the book teach the land, animals provide a connection to the earth and therefore are the basis of many spiritual teachings.&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Critical Evalution </strong>&nbsp;</div><div>As a teacher it is critical to understand the story before I Teach the children. Stories giving ideas of what Dreamtime stories from the online mean for Indigenous people. (Education, 2022) These stories special and meaning full much like stories that are passed down in other religions. Every day before I read dreamtime stories about the Australian Aboriginal and belief their thoughts. After reading from the video the In the Dreamtime stories children asked questions about the books. My intention in choosing book is to introduce Indigenous culture, talk about dreamtime stories, Art, Education, importance of Land.&nbsp;</div><div>I noticed that the children enjoyed the videos from recommended websites. As they were asking a lot of open questions when they were looking at the historical pictures in the book. The Aboriginal display area was well organized and presented with very attractive natural resources, historical photos. I am so impressed with the settings as it was appropriate for the students to gain knowledge of first nations culture. Based on my understandings critically reflected on the lesson plans (native birds corner with posters). &nbsp;</div><div>Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders is dream stories an interesting lesson topic. The knowledge about the Indigenous cultures has given me the strength to critically reflect on my lesson plans. I was inspired to learn about the values of pedagogical approaches which help me in nurturing not only Aboriginal children but also children from various cultures. In the book, Shay and Oliver describe that “Place-based learning” will only take place when the Teachers incorporate pedagogical approach into practical education. My thoughts of Indigenous children and connect them to environmental educations, children should explore the nature and experiencing learning through natural materials (Shay and Oliver 2021: pp 193).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Identity Resource 2 Country Art Activity Aboriginal Flag colouring  Art Activity picture Suitable for Three years old </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Justification</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>The example of from digital resource I picked the idea about Aboriginal flag and reason we must use only black, red, and yellow colours in their flag.&nbsp; Aboriginal flag and the setting area in the Aboriginal corner is an ideal example and include Indigenous culture into the curriculum. My teaching concept of the colours representing Black- Aboriginal people, Yellow- Sun and Red- Earth. Introducing the historical cultural philosophies of the owners of the land we are sharing and living. Resources will be based on Introducing Indigenous culture. The colours in the Indigenous flags, Learning the importance of the Cultural linking to my own culture and learning which developed an interest on the Aboriginal materials. It gives me the ideas of a multicultural environment which helps to understand concepts of other cultures (<em>Aboriginal Flag History</em> 2018) &nbsp;</div><div>The ways of teaching topics are recommended to be honest and respectful discussions with your children. It is an opportunity to encourage the children to do some research in future.&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Critical Evalution.</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>Educating future generation, I realized it is important for me to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders people, their lifestyle, their culture, art and craft, sports. (Learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, n.d.) It gives me the opportunity to learn about the values of pedagogical approaches which help me in nurturing not only Aboriginal children but also children from various cultures. &nbsp;</div><div>Place-based learning will only take place. Indigenous students and connect them to environmental education, children should explore the nature and experiencing learning through natural materials (Shay and Oliver 2021: pp 193).&nbsp;</div><div>I learned when I show the video from the recommended video. The knowledge of the flag has assorted colours. supporting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students (Acara.edu.au, 2019) which was particularly challenging for me. As we are in a multicultural environment and to treat all cultures in a fair way, I had to embed and include the Australian Indigenous history into the curriculum while I was planning the learning experiences (Shay and Oliver 2021:133-147).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Resource 3 Identity Music (Taba Naba) Suitable for all ages</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Justification</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>It is important to introduce Traditional Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander music to children in deep knowledge. (Improving teaching in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education: Australian Professional Standards for Teachers n.d.) Song of Taba Naba, it is good practice for the children to follow the instructions from the video (body movements). During the group time children can practice the song.&nbsp;</div><div>(Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, n.d.) Also, some resources from the album ten songs are Rain Dreaming songs, dance songs, and women's songs from nine languages. The notes provide information about regional variations in the music and about each selection. My lesson time I share the Indigenous knowledge and implementing their cultural perspectives with the children. Shay and Oliver describe that “the teachers will be facing some challenges in the process of implementing Indigenous perspectives" Shay and Oliver 2012:162-173). &nbsp;</div><div>I will gain my confidence back by practicing songs and getting the support from the local Aboriginal elders. I will take an opportunity to learn how to embed pedagogical approaches in a traditional way. Also introduce musical instruments sounds from audio, so children will identify very soon.&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Critical reflection</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>From knowledge and understanding of personal histories, attitudes, knowledge and understanding about others and the difference they have in each other. As an example, reflecting personally and professionally using a holistic planning and teaching framework.&nbsp;</div><div>Honestly, my background is I am a non-Indigenous and was extremely nervous in teaching my lesson plans because I did not want to give wrong answers to the children. I decided to invite an Indigenous Elder’s to the Centre who could explain more in detail about their culture and sing songs. I am proud of myself as this Incursion brought the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders communities, Organisations, and families together to build a good relationship (Shay and Oliver 2021:86-96). In this incursion helped me with my lesson plan two and three as the elder person was explaining their cultural belief and detail and was answering to all questions that children’s and parents were asking</div>]]></description>

Teaching mathematics in Indigenous languages gives identification of suitable mathematics terminology. After the video watching children will sing song with some musical Intruments. Children also practice pronouncing words from Aboriginal languages. It is also part of music lessons from the Learning resources. Able to count most counting visual such as raised fingers,&nbsp;</div><div>Children can make up their own symbols, from relate them to stories about their own world. Role model of teaching by singing with dancing by using body movements helps to listen to the song. Setting up Outdoor Physical activity encourages children to identify written symbols (hopscotch) by using Aboriginal language. &nbsp;</div><div><strong>Evaluate</strong>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Critical reflection on professional development: Shaped, Expanded and Deepened</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>I gained the knowledge of reconciliation in which I learnt how to embed and to support the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. which was very challenging for me. As we are in a multicultural environment and to treat all cultures in a fair way, I had to embed and include the Australian Indigenous history into the curriculum while I was planning the learning experiences (Shay and Oliver 2021:133-147). &nbsp;</div><div>I noticed that I am bit nervous and not confident to share the Indigenous knowledge and implement their cultural perspectives with the students because of the fear that I may give incorrect information.
