Hi Lars, I’m from Peru and I live in Puno. The best time to visit is spring because it’s raining, cloudy and stormy weather. I love the spring, it’s perfect time to relaxing and the flowers are everywhere. Also you can visit Chucuito, the Uros islands or Sillustani. You can read a book, take photos, eat the typical dishes of Puno and travel to the different districts, too. Bring sweaters, impermeable jackets, rain boots, wool socks, a shawl and gloves as well, or you’ll be too cold and wet.
