The Art of Peer Pressure by Kendrick Lamar is a song off of his album good kid, m.A.A.d city, which essentially is a song about the escapades of a young Kendrick and his group of friends in Compton. He brings up riding around smoking and listening to music, threatening others in colors affiliated with rival gangs, and committing robbery, along with a very narrow escape.
" I never was stranger to the fonk neither, I really doubt it
Rush a nigga quick and then we laugh about it
That's ironic, 'cause I've never been violent
Until I'm with the homies"
Kendrick speaks on how he does not act this way until he is around his group of friends. With the title of the song being "The Art of Peer Pressure" it is easy to see how the song is also a message about how the people around you influence and affect your decisions, sometimes negatively. How Kendrick and his friends barely the clutches of police at the end of the song correlates to Kendrick's depiction of the life of young African American males in cities like Compton.

The Story of Adidon is a diss track by Pusha T in response to Duppy Freestyle by Drake. In "Stinging like Tabasco", Perry talks about the use of African American customs such as playing the dozens, in hip hop. Playing the dozens is a competition of the greatest insults, and on this song Pusha T does just that, sending blow after blow and holding back no punches, even going as far to make fun of Drake's long time producer and close friend Noah Shebib's multiple sclerosis.
Drug dealin' aside, ghostwritin' aside
Let's have a heart-to-heart about your pride
Even though you're multi, I see that your soul don't look alive
The M's count different when Baby divides the pie, wait
Let's examine why
Your music for the past few years been angry and full of lies
I'll start it at the home front, "I'm On One"
Dennis Graham stay off the 'Gram, bitch, I'm on one
You mention wedding ring like it's a bad thing
Your father walked away at five—hell of a dad thing
Marriage is somethin' that Sandi never had, Drake
How you a winner but she keep comin' in last place?
Monkey-suit Dennis, you parade him
A Steve Harvey-suit nigga made him
Confused, always felt you weren't Black enough

While The Story of Adidon was a hard-hitting diss track full of insults, Duppy Freestyle was filled with more crafty lyricism and rebukes against the ghostwriting incident that Pusha T rehashed in "Infrared" which caused Drake to create Duppy Freestyle. Drake questions Pusha T's credibility as a drug dealer, a topic that is often brought up in Pusha's music, questioning the authenticity and realism that makes up Pusha T's music, as well as sending shots to Kanye West as well.
Your brother said it was your cousin, then him, then you
So, you don't rap what you did, you just rap what you knew
Don't be ashamed, it's plenty niggas that do what you do
There's no malice in your heart, you're an approachable dude
Man, you might've sold to college kids for Nike and Mercedes
But you act like you sold drugs for Escobar in the '80s
I had a microphone of yours, but then the signature faded
I think that pretty much resembles what's been happenin' lately
