ประเด็นสำคัญความฉลาดรู้เรื่องสภาพภูมิอากาศภายใต้กรอบ PISA 2029 มีรายละเอียดดังนี้:

  • ความฉลาดรู้ด้านสื่อและปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (Media and AI Literacy): ในรอบปี 2029 จะมีการประเมินสมรรถนะของนักเรียนในการเข้าถึง วิเคราะห์ และประเมินข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศที่ปรากฏในสื่อต่างๆ เพื่อให้สามารถแยกแยะข้อเท็จจริงออกจากข้อมูลที่บิดเบือนได้

  • สมรรถนะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ (Scientific Literacy): เน้นความเข้าใจเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับกลไกของการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศโลก และการใช้หลักฐานทางวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อทำนายหรือหาทางออกให้กับปัญหาโลกเดือด

  • ความตระหนักและการลงมือทำ: มุ่งหวังให้นักเรียนสามารถเชื่อมโยงความรู้สู่การปฏิบัติในชีวิตจริง เช่น การปรับตัว (Adaptation) และการบรรเทาผลกระทบ (Mitigation) จากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ

  • ตัวอย่างสถานการณ์ที่ใช้ประเมิน: มักจะมีการนำประเด็นสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เป็นรูปธรรมมาใช้ เช่น สถานการณ์ของหมีขั้วโลกที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการละลายของน้ำแข็งขั้วโลก เพื่อทดสอบทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียน
