She teaches Social Studies and in her free time, she enjoys learning trendy Tiktok dances and posting them online. She is very active on social media and often posts photos and videos of her socialising with her friends and pursuing her hobbies. When students ask if they can follow her on social media, she gladly gives out her username because she is a believer that a teacher should be genuine and connect with students beyond the classroom. At the same time, she also follows all her students to see what they are up to online, and uses this as a means to build rapport and make lessons more engaging.

However, she is unable to take up extra commitments beyond 5 pm as she needs to accompany her diabetic father to the hospital for his dialysis three times a week. Being the only child, Ms Yani is the only healthy adult in her family who can do this. This year, she is given a particularly challenging class with disruptive and mischievous students. She was also assigned Basketball as her CCA, where training ends at 6.30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Her current HOD has high expectations of her and Ms Yani herself has a very perfectionist mindset.

In his mid-30s, he is considered one of the most proficient and capable teachers to have risen up the ranks. He believes in prioritising students and going the extra mile to help them in their school work, or simply to lend them a listening ear. Also, he stays back till late to speak with students about their personal matters. Personally, he struggles with high functioning depression and overworks himself to keep occupied, despite being offered help from colleagues. Not wanting to be vulnerable in front of people he works with, Mr Chong refrains from sharing his struggles as he thinks that it will make him appear incompetent.
