Opinion about turning pretty and the smoke: While the second of the book advance Tally learns more and more about the Smoke and start to change her mind about turning in the Smoke to become pretty. She changed her mind about becoming pretty after learning more about the Smoke.  At first she tought it would be a little town but when she saw how well develop it was and how people care about it she started to think tahtit wasn't bad to not turn pretty and live in the smoke.
Feelings:
Determination: At first she was determined to turn Shay because she kind of felt anger because it was her fault that she wasn't turning pretty. 
Discoragement:When she arrived at the roller coastershe was feeling some discouragement because she didn't thought she was going to be able to find what Shay was telling her in her letter. At each clue Shay had let her she was bugging and tought she was going to let down her mission.
 Paranoia:"She's carrying a bug" he said. Tally's heart froze "A what ?" this si one of the many passage that shows that Tally is really scared of getting caught being a spy.

David: 
 Opinion about turning pretty and The Smoke: 
David is born in The Smoke, and his parents are the one that start the community so it's clear for him that turning pretty is not an option and that The Smoke is the  best place to live in.
Feelings:
During the short time we are learning about David in the part 4 he doesn't really shows any signs of feelings so we can say he's kind of a reserved guy. The fact that he's putting thrust in Tally shows that he's showing some interest to her.
Shay: Since we know her we witness the fact that she doesn't like the way how uglies turn pretties so she decided to give a note to tally even though she didn't seem to want to come.
Feelings: 
At first she was very happy and she felt some relief when she saw Tally in the Smoke, but as the JOurney of Tally in the Smoke advance she starts to see that David started to have some feelings for Tally wich she is Jealous of .

She decided to go in the water so the flying machine don't see her. It was making a lot of noise, doing a lot of wind and big waves in the water. Tally sank lower in the water and she was freezing. The flying machine past by and didn't saw her. She decided to go back to her campement and took a look if there was any damage on what she was carrying. Her overboard was green, and after a search of spagbol and the remaining packets, she saw that there was missing only two. In fact, Tally faced a firestorm, a cliff fall and she had live out there for 4 days alone so she surely faced wind, rain, hot days as her sunbruise shows. Altough she lived in a overprotected city for all her life time before leaving it, she fought really well to survive.
Friendship Vs Conviction: The major conflict of this book began when the Special Circumstances asked obligated Tally to spy in the Smoke for them to become pretty what she tought tought was the only way to live. Right when she accepted she was stressed out to betray her good friend Shay. She suddenly awake because of a sound of dry brush getting inflamed and the smell of smoke passing over her. There was a wall of fire in front of her. She took her backpack and run away from the fire and looking around to if there was nobody that could see her. She had no idea in which way to run. The only thing that she could see was big cloud of smoke. She was thinking at her overboard if it was in fire. She finally past a cloud of smoke and saw her overboard. It seems like it at been untouched. She got on her overboard and she suddenly got a big blow of winds. She put a feet in the water to slow her down, but she fell in the water. The smoke disappeared and she saw the flying machine. The overboard came back to her and she got on it. The flying machine landed and people were coming out of it and were coming towards her. She was having difficulty to get on her board and at that point she heard "Wait" said by the nearest figured. When she was about to leaved and someone grabbed her overboard.The figures bring her to the flying machine. They finally bring her to a flower field.
