Strategies - Counting, conversion, etc.  Most used similar strategies, but the difference would be using a formula or formal strategy vs. a guess and check.

We can prepare students by using whole group instruction to walk them through the problems and the steps. We can use a gradual release of responsibility model to work toward independent practice. Providing rubrics would be important to provide in order to increase student independence. 2&3. Everyone had a different way of using the graph information. Some of us scrolled back and forth, one of us took pictures of the chart, and another person wrote down the information in their notebook. The importance of note taking came up as a way of preparing our students. Going over how to maneuver the places students have to go to during the test is also important to go over. Math talks and "dots" tasks can help students build endurance, see that there are many different ways to solve a problem, and build routines for reasoning.

Task involved too much reading, many references and going back and forth between the tables of information and questions. 
Will the teacher be allowed to give them copies of the tables to reduce that back and forth required in gathering the information from the tables?
Can certain words be highlighted
by the teacher to simplify the task and streamline the reading? 
Reading can be a struggle for many of the students, especially after impact of the pandemic.
