Today we had the task to, in groups make a 25 second suspense sequence using 5 clips. I wasn’t too confident before doing it because the short time frame we had to film it, but once it was done and over with I felt satisfied with what we had done, to create suspense we used long, lingering pov shots, and blocked part of the frame in one shot which I believe helped create unease. We looked at horror shorts based around suspense to help us understand what we were going to make. The biggest challenge was the short frame of time we had to film it and the fact that we had little time to come up with the idea in the first place. If I had more time I would probably put more effort into the pre planning

we entered pre production this week and started wrapping up research, during this week i tried to watch and learn as much as i could about suspense and help me for filming our scene.

we were finishing pre production this week and get ready to film we also booked out the equipment this week, ready to film the next week. we also wrapped up all our storyboards and pre production for our film.

this week we filmed, it went really well it was super fun, we experimented with the shots we were going to film and got really creative with what we worked with.

this week we started post production and started editing our film, it was really nice to use premiere and I think I learned more about cutting while editing. overall the project was fun to edit and I believe it helped my filmmaking skills more.
