Each group will analyze an organization and determine if it does or does not follow each of the five key principles of AOP. Look through the webpage of the organization focusing on its mission, vision, values, programs, and approach to community work. 

Assign a writer and speaker for each group. You will have 20 minutes to discuss with your group, then come back to the main room for class discussion.

Finding ways to empower the individual to address interpersonal (micro) and institutional level (macro).

Building mutual and capacity building through solidarity and addressing social issues together.

5. Minimal Intervention 
Reduce oppressive and disempowering situations. Create and implement preventative measures rather than reliance on service. Solve the systemic issue.
